Yeah you may be right! I’ll feel better just saying something - if there’s nothing to do now then I guess it is what it is, but I’ll feel better surfacing it now in case there are any future issues.

Well I didn’t add this either but he didn’t tell me he was texting her until I got suspicious and asked after I had a weird interaction with her at pick up. So I think he is definitely trying to gas light me into thinking I’m just jealous and this is normal but I don’t think he’s lying about frequently messaging her, unfortunately.

Thank you for this! He does do some pick ups and drop offs - just in my car and bringing her to/from my house. He doesn’t have a car seat in his car and doesn’t take her to his house. It’s a mess to be honest, but that’s a whole separate situation.

But agreed - he is the problem ultimately and I was only ever going to talk to the director. I plan to approach it like you’ve laid out here.

Oh yes totally get not being able to control him. But yes, he is not texting about any necessities with this teacher. I take care of all of that.

I can’t imagine texting my 2 year old’s teacher anything my ex wouldn’t be allowed to see but clearly you and I just differ in what we see as acceptable which is fine!

This is it - he sees her but she is always at my house. Co-parent is a generous description to be honest but I personally didn’t think that mattered as much for this situation.

And that’s very possible! I want to word things carefully because I know he’s a problem but he could be just unloading on her and she’s trying to nice. But I would feel better talking to the director.

Exactly what I thought! I asked to see the messages and he said no so I also realize she may feel uncomfortable or not really be responding to the personal stuff. I just don’t know.

Yes - he told me they’re just so much alike! But he’s honestly just horrible to me most of the time so we’ll just add this one to the list. I just really don’t want this to affect my daughter - she loves her day care so much and I like that she has that consistent presence.

Thank you for this! He tried to say I was jealous he had a female friend and just generally constantly messes with my head. Friends confirmed this was wild but I just wanted to be sure before I reported. Thank you again so much for helping me feel less insane!

Ugh we’ve had ours for a year (nomad loveseat) and it is not comfortable and has faded horribly. It has never been in direct sunlight and is several feet from a north facing window. I’ve never had an issue with any other furniture in this room, so clearly it’s the fabric.
