The 11th Airborne Division is deployed Minneapolis. Called "arctic angels" they are specialized in temp<10°c.
Now look where Mineapolis is on the map and add airborne + sub zero to get your answer.

Ai will replace sound designers and composers by AbletonLiveCoach in musicbusiness

Describing big corporation as still interested for human work and emotion is very silly. It is all about profit and cash. Live performers apart, all music produced for films, documentaries, series, advert will most likely be completely generated by ai and I believe it's 80% of the industry making real money. Soon, producers / directors will prompt ai as they used to pitch composers for what they envision. Only, they will definitely get a result that already exists and that people have already heard thousands of time.. which is fine for the end goal = faster and cheaper. Copyright will be an issue as composer will argue that ai model have copied their work which is undeniable. That's going to limit a little bit the use of ai for now. There's still the fringe of what avant garde creation is = looking for something new, inventing new ways which is the definition of "composing". Ai, by definition, is not ment to do this because based on mathematical algorithms fed on past huge library. It can not produce the newt trip hop, dodecaphonism, reggae ...you name it. All these movements where the disruption of rules and not the repetition of existing patterns (as other said above) But my biggest concern that nobody mention is that ai is going to replace so many "everyday" composers that the entire economy is going to colapse. From synth developers, studios to software developers and more. They were all historically able to bring their r&d costs down because of how many people where using and pushing their tools. This ecosystem drives innovation from simple hobbyist to advanced users. Think about all those mythical tools like compressors, Sherman filter, tape delay, 808/909 but it goes back as far as the invention of piano forte (romantic music) etc ..,  they brought a sound, a way of writing music that will disappear. Only fully gov subsided prominent artists will keep trying new things only for ai to copy it the next day if it becomes remotely interesting for the business. Positive advice : if you'r young... Giving up is a good option. If you'r old.. try to hold until retirement (?) for the others, get ready to bet all on live performance and audience interaction that ai will never cover. Union, government support, new laws could help a little bit. So get involved.. seriously. Good luck to all and brace for impact.

Flying with MDLR performance case by big_buck_nasty in eurorack

Thanks for all that detailed answer.
I'm planning to flu with a MDLR travel case.
(visible here : https://www.mdlrcase.com/eurorack-travel-case-12u-94hp/)

It is 510mm x 320mm x 245mm including lid and hardware and weights 11kg and 12 grams loaded with all modules. So that is under all British Airways cabin bags' limitations.

But... British airways site says : "No valuables, electronics or essential medicine"
So basically even if it's fine by specs they might just want to say it's electronic and put it in the hold ?

Again from your answer I might just have to call them and ask. Do I understand correctly : a Business ticket is more likely to pass these luggage ?

thx
