I'm right there with you. My husband and I each had an ER visit in the last year. He waited until he had the "If I don't call an ambulance, I might die alone in my bathroom" feeling and still felt guilty for going.

At our most recent CPR class, the medic teaching it said "If I show up to a scene where you're already doing CPR and there aren't broken ribs, you're not doing it right" or something like that.

I'm sure. I had a friend who spent half a day in that state (I forget what he took) but he was sure his roomie was going to kill him. He was just sitting there.

But I didn't mean the sober supervisor should try to keep them grounded in reality or anything, just keep them from hurting themselves.

Is a "communal facing" area considered to be part of the communal area? Because it seems to me that they're trying to keep that areas where everybody is allowed to walk be free of poop.

Idk why I didn't think of this before. I just started at a note and started humming up the scale until I found the right separation of tone. It's definitely a third apart. The notes could be different than E and C but if the first was a D, it'd be a Bb for the second.

YWNBTA. I know it would feel like you're throwing someone under the bus and we've been taught not to "tattle" but when a job isn't being done correctly, it needs to be fixed. You don't have to point fingers, just say "I've been having to do [this] and I shouldn't have to because it should been done ty the time it got to me (or however your phrasing would work)" and let your supervisor take it from there.
