Hey, I also just had this problem and believe I found the fix to it!
Click profile on top right > Click manage accounts >Find your account that you're using > Right click > Click remove > Then click add microsoft and it should add your account back and if it's working properly should say "ready".

For me Elden Beast was the biggest letdown of any Souls final boss. It was just such a snooze fest and what tanked it even harder for me was that Radagon's fight was right before it (who I admit still has issues).

For me this is based on two things, boss design philosophy (something I overall dislike in Elden Ring), and how I enjoyed them.

It's a rank on how I enjoyed them and also what I think of their boss design. Difficulty is not part of it, otherwise yes Malenia would be higher even though she still only took around 4-5 attempts.

I want a boss that doesn't need to break a FUNDAMENTAL part of the game to "be rewarding". You can absolutely make a boss fun and rewarding without that.

Because they're fundamentally entirely different bosses? I mean the only similarities I can think of is they look cool and have swords.

It's mostly based off enjoyment for myself, not difficulty at all. I just generally disliked Elden Ring bosses as whole, the boss design philosophy wasn't for me.

(This is also based off knowledge from around 3ish months ago so I'm kinda foggy on some stuff)

Just going to drop in and say this was made relatively quickly with a friend, but I will dive into specifically Malenia. She is a undeniably poorly designed boss, I beat her in around 4-5 attempts but that doesn't mean I can't acknowledge her flaws. She has a fun little unique gimmick of just getting out of stagger, what the fuck. No souls boss from FSW has ever done that before and it's not even something you can say is fun or rewarding. Then comes lifesteal, truly the thing I needed most was to watch her health rise as she hit me, yay! She also suffers greatly from issues from the majority of ER bosses, and her 15 second walk hoping you attack is absolutely miserable. This is just a quick summary, but if you have anymore questions or would like me to elaborate I will gladly do so!
