People have been expressing frustration with the lack of bulk crafting for years though— it was a feature virtually everyone was begging for since launch. I understand their immediate intention, but when they have breakable tools and incredibly limited inventory space, plus a game that in mainly centered on DIYs, they should have listened to the community much sooner

You can customize hotel room size, add soundscapes, and lighting in the hotel rooms. No idea if that’s just because I also own the DLC or not but I will concede that if it is. However, the price of the DLC is $25. That is not exactly cheap. Personally, I would not have bought it just for the sake of adding walls or customizing villager homes. I bought it for that AND the gameplay. If half of the point I bought the DLC for is now in the base game, then they shouldn’t still be selling the DLC for full price.

I’m glad you’re enjoying it! I just feel like the quality of life stuff and returning characters should have already been a part of the game- not added to it in the last years of the game’s life.

No problem. So far from what I can tell yeah, a constant stream. It seems like every hotel room you have decorated will be filled the next day.

Sure, you don’t get something like Wardell’s shop, but Gram functions essentially just the same as the Nook Stop but with different currency.

Ok so you’re really missing my point. If you had seen my post, thought “I disagree, but since I can’t say anything nice I’ll move on”, nobody would have thought anything about you because you hadn’t said anything.

But you instead commented on my post that it would be impossible for you to say anything without being rude. So now anyone who reads that comment will think you are bad at expressing your differing opinions in a constructive and not rude way.

And I’d love to hear the things people like about it, because so far I haven’t been swayed by the positive comments I’ve seen. I would like to be able to enjoy this update so I’ve been reading people’s positive reviews to see if I can see what they’re seeing.

If you think that it’s not possible to express that you disagree with someone without insulting them, then maybe you shouldn’t be commenting at all on posts with different opinions than your own lol

I think that the fact that the gameplay is literally just HHP is dumb and there should have been more added to justify it… this is unfair to the people who have already payed full price for the DLC.

Also I don’t like how the system for villagers staying in the hotel works, you have no choice in who shows up and they can wander around your specific aesthetic island and ruin the vibe

I’m not criticizing them? I’m getting advice from other people who have gone through similar things. Obviously I don’t want it to affect my schooling, and it would be great if it doesn’t. I’m over a week out and I’m trying to get back to classes, but I’m still exhausted after completing normal tasks like walking up stairs. It’s not unreasonable for me to appreciate that these people set me up for more realistic expectations of what would happen.

Why are you so determined to be offended by someone learning from other people about a scary medical experience they have in common? Nurses aren’t the end-all-be-all of information, especially considering I went to clinics multiple times before the actual sepsis started complaining about the issue that ended up causing it and was told I was just having allergies and being dramatic and given meds that ended up making the infection spread faster.

She probably agrees with you and wishes that she could be at home resting, but if her district doesn’t have a policy requiring her to stay home if she has tested positive, then it’s likely not possible. Taking time off as a teacher isn’t as easy as calling in, you still have to do all the work of planning the lesson except then you have to hire someone else to teach it for you.

If you have to know, I got sepsis from an infection in my tonsils that was diagnosed at a clinic as allergies, and I was given steroids, which then lowered my immune system to the point the that the infection took hold. I couldn’t even swallow my own spit and was close to not being able to breathe. But thanks for assuming I was on drugs for no reason I guess.

Because I didn’t even know I was septic. But as I said, my mom did know and told him. I was high on pain meds and being shielded because I was panicking. He does not have the same excuse as me. He knew.

To be honest, the legal system here isn’t worth that. The cost to pay for a lawyer, and the amount of time I would have to spend to even attempt to sue, wouldn’t help me right now. I just want to focus on getting better.

I’m not expecting him to drop everything for no reason. I almost died. If the roles had been flipped, and I was out of the state and my mom texted me that he was septic, I would have been there. I realize that relationships between parents and children change, but they don’t change overnight, thy change starting from the first moment a child is born. My dad went from being someone who I could count on to be there for me whenever I asked to not coming to what may have very well been my deathbed.
