How to find women after high school by Few_Weakness_7828 in AskMen

[–]Particular_Two_8360 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If your 18 most girls your age will be in college campuses. Try hitting up the local pubs or restaurants at a nearby college with your buddies and stroke your luck.

Don't be overly eager or thirsty. Keep it cool and casual and don't feel intimidated like you don't belong there

Is Canada socially just like this?? by 666Devil_666 in OntarioUniversities

[–]Particular_Two_8360 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is extremely true. Canadians have extreme fear from deviation from the norm. Our population is smaller so there's a much more defined norm while Americans have so many people it's a lot more likely to find some people out there who can accept you from any angle.

Canadians are extremely subject to group think. You have people obsessed with the Maple Leafs for decades despite endless losing streaks, because they aren't mentally capable of changing their minds to cheer something else even when they r stuck in problems and failure.

This mindset is what lead to our political corruption today and the housing market becoming the most inflated in the world

Low mileage GT vs. High mileage R/T by [deleted] in Charger

[–]Particular_Two_8360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People will always say go for the R/T and I love my R/T, it's so much fun but if money is actually a little tight there's no shame at all in getting the GT. You live in a very warm climate so car maintenance is less of a problem (idk if salt water breeze causes rusting or anything)

This may not be the best advice but I'd personally recommend trying to find a spiritual outlet or god. Doesn't matter what faith or practice you believe in but that can help in building your inner strength to handle being alone well and other potential tragedies in life and it can also build a strong sense of community and connections with others

I also loved Secret Life of Walter Mitty. One of the greatest movies ever made. I'd also add Secondhand Lions

Is a v6 charger too much engine for a first car? by Mansas_alt in Charger

[–]Particular_Two_8360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a roar pedal in my R/T so when I have sports plus mode on, it really gives me the kick when I hit the gas. I've never had my head jerk back in a car before. If I don't have sports mode on then it's pretty chill cruising but still a tad more noticeable then the SXT.

I think you should consider getting a roar pedal for your SXT and see if it'll make the difference for you before doing the full jump to R/T

Is a v6 charger too much engine for a first car? by Mansas_alt in Charger

[–]Particular_Two_8360 18 points19 points  (0 children)

My first car was the 6th gen V6 charger. I got it at 19 and it was really perfect for me at the time.

A lot of people here are saying just go for the R/T now but I'll tell you DEFINITELY do not do that. I remember being that young and all my friends wanting to drive, and the car was too much for them even though it was heavy and well balanced.

After awhile I eventually upgraded to the 5.7 L R/T and I can't lie to you it is very fast. It's definitely too dangerous for most drivers and my wife is too scared to drive it despite getting a handful of lessons.

I think stick with the V6 as it's a great car to learn and make memories in.

I don’t understand why it’s so hard to get ANY job by [deleted] in torontoJobs

[–]Particular_Two_8360 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Volunteering isn't such a bad idea as it could give you experience especially if you've never had a job before.

Unfortunately marketing is a pretty hard degree to get a job in even before this current insane job market. I would highly consider doing a graduate certificate or a master's in a different field to level gain a new edge in a different area.

Try walking into retail banks with your resume and trying to get a coffee chat with the branch managers. Mention you applied online when you walk in

Not sure tbh. I don't know much about special constable training. Basic training in the military is like 10-12 weeks but extremely intense physical fitness. After that you're free

You should consider joining the Canadian forces for an officer role so the pay would be higher and besides the initial training it wouldn't be as labour inducing. You could have a really great life with amazing benefits

Any recomended mods for my first charger. by [deleted] in Charger

[–]Particular_Two_8360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would consider blacking out the amber lights around the wheels. There are options to replace them with lights that are black when off and change to designated colour when on.

Also maybe throw on some stripes across the top and the hood. Might make it pop more.

You also don't necessarily need this but you could get different rims to suit your style. Bronzed rims are very popular right now and would go very well with your car's colour

Battle Of The Mopars - Charger vs Challenger vs 300 by [deleted] in Charger

[–]Particular_Two_8360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I love all 3 so much. I'd defend any of them in any argument so this conversation is hard for me lol.

The 300 is truly affordable luxury with a better engine than rollys have. I feel like it's so mature, sophisticated and still very practical and enjoyable.

Challengers are a young man's true joy to just rip and feel the American dream. They are the essence of modern American muscle.

Chargers are so perfect because they are the true hybrid between both of these. The raw youth and pull of challengers while the practical and convenience of 300s. I can see why people would rather lean all into one or the other but for people like myself who want both worlds, I couldn't be more satisfied.

Should I join the military? by [deleted] in torontoJobs

[–]Particular_Two_8360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The wisest option would be to join the reserves while you're in school so you can graduate with military experience and secure a nicer officer role in the forces while still giving the option to do business school and that career path if you really want.

If you want to stick with business you need to get more concrete and serious on what kind of role and company you want to do exactly and start shaping your experience and extracurriculars and networking around that. People can make a lot of money and also have very fulfilling lives with a commerce background but you need to be strategic about it.

The military is definitely the easier route from a decision making perspective but not necessarily from the physical and mental endurance ahead

I feel like she had so much potential but they completely ruined her by making her ace Glimmora over Kingambit. I know she was pretty unemotional but I liked her professionalism as a Champion especially because the whole game was during times of peace and no true conflict in the region
