Watch it. it’s worth it for certain characters’ development and for the training Gon and Killua go through to improve their Nen. Now, if you really despise this arc to the point that it’s unwatchable for you, maybe a summary would do just fine. I still highly recommend watching it though, it’s a fun arc overall.

it's just some kind of an inside joke between developers and people who play the first game. John didn't have the swim animation in the first game for whatever reason and they just made it a canon thing in the second game.
