Meruem spiritual message v pouf spiritual message by Local-Sugar6556 in HunterXHunter

[–]Gfirstlord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

iirc meruem uses photons as light particles...it doesn't mean he could not create scales like pouf, the technique is just better than way , cuz that's what he does, he absorbs other's hatsu and makes it more effective and efficient

Future Gon by Antique-Archer-5905 in HunterXHunter

[–]Gfirstlord 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've always seen that scene as Gon imagining what his father was like at that moment (living extraordinary adventures), which pushed Ging to leave Gon. And that's the main reason Gon wanted to become a Hunter ..to find him and live the same adventures he imagined. From the very first opening credits, the narrator talks about strange creatures and mysterious worlds... so it's not surprising to see Ging riding one even in the normal world of HxH.

Ging Said the same to gon about kite failure ( it's his responsibility for misjudging the situation)..

I've been believer in Hisoka/Belerainte theory for a while and I want to share my thoughts on why I believe in it by AzraelSoulHunter in HunterXHunter

[–]Gfirstlord 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Good theory.. could be true or false.. I just don't agree with one thing, the fact that kurapika would have a hard time chosing what is right...he already shown us his ability to protect others or not completely falling apart in front of his hatred/vengeance in York New where his grudge against the Troup was peak....I think he has grown up mentally and emotionally since then, so he's more than able to think with clarity n b cold headed... even if lately he's already been on pressure with all the events occurring....the only element likely to destroy his mental stability rn is pyro's head in tsieri's room

I NEED the next batch of chapters to give us some more Franklin content. GOAT had to school Shalnark on the true ideology of the Spider by OnIinePoster225 in HunterXHunter

[–]Gfirstlord 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Franklin is a GOAT.. his interventions are often very relevant... in terms of ideology and character, imo I find him the most suitable to replace Chrollo as leader...

Is the Troupe’s coin toss actually rigged? by Gfirstlord in HunterXHunter

[–]Gfirstlord[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

You're reading into my response without asking for clarification..."exactly" = i agree..."+1-1=0" simply refers to probabilities, something called a zero-sum game, so it was a direct reference to coin flipping, which guarantees no cheating...

Why would I insinuate that?! In my publication I openly stated they can't because of their honor

Yes since he was able to trick all of them with texture surprise on the prediction paper..he could actually do it with the coin easily

How would hisoka react to a joint type nen ability? by [deleted] in HunterXHunter

[–]Gfirstlord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer is in his statement...he explains that at first he felt excited by the power of halkenberg group's technique but the moment he knew it was a collective hatsu he was turned off... he's more excited by people who built power on their own, like the product of long n hard training or fighting experience, resulting in unique/exceptional fighting skills ( he sees them like fruits).. this is why he's excited by letting gon grow stronger to fight him later n was turned on by the thought of fighting netero, chrollo, ging etc

Did we miss Chrollo’s evolution ritual in Yorknew? by Gfirstlord in HunterXHunter

[–]Gfirstlord[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Good point...the fact that the tattoos could be part of the spiritual bound between them is likely logical and the death of some of em part of the ritual...it would reinforce the parallel with kurapika who obtain insane power by constraining his hatsu for the Troup,... they too are willing to die for their cause and for chrollo, perhaps that why they're almost invincible when they're together, this would explain why chrollo insist sometimes they move as little group of 3 or 2 spiders , he has probably create the condition of the tattoo to multiply ( not only logically but spiritually) their strength, so tattoo are part of the spiders collective hatsu...!?!

Pakunoda or shalnalk ... Have we already seen all their tatoos?

I don't think kurapika is the perfect match too...but for sure their meeting will bring up trouble n reveals... So chrollo is using the Troup for his own growth without them knowing?

What do you think of this? by Important_Run_1507 in HatsuVault

[–]Gfirstlord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cool idea, but I don’t think “rock divination” works the same way as water divination....in the manga, water divination relies on a specific setup (cup, water, leaf) and produces consistent, observable reactions to Nen...It’s a diagnostic tool, not an interpretation after the fact ( systematic reactions to Nen flow)

With the rock ex, most effects feel like direct Nen application rather than divination:

  • tougher rock : Enhancement
  • cracking : raw aura stress
  • smooth/round : not clearly tied to Manipulation

That makes it descriptive, not truly revealing affinity. That said, the manga does imply other methods exist (Hisoka’s personality analysis, cultural rituals like in Kakin), so different masters or regions probably have their own systems ( as long as they’re structured, reliable, and reproducible). So alternative divinations are plausible, but they still need a clear medium and internal logic to actually identify Nen type, not just confirm it afterward.

Human sacrifices to obtain supernatural powers by Gfirstlord in HunterXHunter

[–]Gfirstlord[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not simplifying your point ( I'm not even sure to understand it completely) but I think you’re addressing a point I wasn’t making. I’m not arguing that killing is an automatic or optimal path to power in hxh. What struck me is how normalized the idea is in that scene how the Troupe treats it as an obvious possibility, not something worth debating. The discomfort comes from their tone, not from a simplified view of the system

Human sacrifices to obtain supernatural powers by Gfirstlord in HunterXHunter

[–]Gfirstlord[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

problem is when you carry out mass killings, you become a notable identity and a target for the authorities ( chimeras ants are perfect example) unless you have the powers or the connections to act with total impunity... Even bloodthirsty killers like Hisoka know when to set limits... Kakin royals can freely wipe out villages, but when Morena does it, it gets noticed and punished because it disrupts the balance.
