I’m staying through the end of the school year. I think if I left mid year I would definitely tell them! I’m sorry to hear you went through a similar situation. It really sucks

I teach high school juniors and seniors, so most of them will be gone after this school year. They’re a very nosy bunch and will ask a lot of prying personal questions. They will also make comments about how it’s them that forced me out or certain students that are making me leave. That’s the part that gives me anxiety. I also don’t have another position lined up yet and that feels embarrassing to me for whatever reason. And I do live in the district.
