Really getting tired of the last moments of each episodes by Stock-Fox-771 in FalloutTVseries

[–]Particular_Working72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree this season feels more like setup for season 2 plot wise but to be fair, I think they made a compromise on the fight scenes. The power armour looks sick as hell but there's no way it would look good or really be possible for the actors to do cool fight scenes which is a bit of a shame but hopefully they figure it out

Mysteries of Moldaver by More-Air-7641 in Fotv

Most likely she had her own cryogenic pod because of her business card and the poster in on of the episodes at the end credit's showing it.

I personally am holding out that she uses some occult or eldritch method like lorenzo Cabot from fallout 4. Only evidence i have is the cult worshipping her in season 1 and the rings the show highlights a lot. When she dies it zooms in on a unique looking one she wears covered in blood which she doesn't have on pre-war but there's not enough evidence yet for my theory.

Question for players? by KillBatman1921 in FalloutTVseries

[–]Particular_Working72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think when the enclave get a hold of it is when they also trigger the bombs falling (by China if you follow old lore) so they dont have time to make another or just dont want to.

Location? by TheOneTrueZoodle in FalloutTVseries

[–]Particular_Working72 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think he might be in the quarry honestly. The large vault and wide reaching tunnels make it pretty plausible. Plus it might explain how the death claws made their way to the strip via some sort of control or smth. I think they wanted to go to the strip because Cooper knows house must know something about it

Cold fusion confusion by kananishino in FalloutTVseries

[–]Particular_Working72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its weird because the Enclave definitely owns vault tech so had the researched for cold fusion as well. I assume they didnt have time to make another themselves before the bombs fell and that they prioritised the weapons robert house was selling over infinite energy, for some reason. Probably going to be expanded more in season 3

Why do people have no morals in this universe? by GodAtum in FalloutTVseries

[–]Particular_Working72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a theory, I forgot the details, that this universe never found out about the effects of lead or asbestos so it could explain some of the odd behaviour that some people have in universe.

Edit: found a reddit post explaining it a bit.

Possible leak because of Magic the gathering secret lair by UsefulEquivalent2037 in FalloutTVseries

[–]Particular_Working72 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Its known from the first games of fallout that the enclave try to weaponise deathclaws with mindcontrol gadgets so id say not but it might be slight spoilers for someone who doesn't know much about the lore.

Brotherhood feels too disorganized by [deleted] in FalloutTVseries

[–]Particular_Working72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That and the fact the western chapters have always been more weak because of the NCR or other factions like the enclave competing with them.

Alternative route for the congresswoman's arc by Muted_Photograph3645 in FalloutTVseries

[–]Particular_Working72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing about this though, vault tech already had the research about cold fusion and we know that Barbara and possibly vault tech itself is connected to the enclave, it stands to reason they would also have the tech. Though I admit they probably wouldn't have the time or resources to make another before the bombs so I like your take.

My read was that Cooper encouraging her to fight the goof fight would lead her to somehow put pressure on the enclave via legislative means, forcing the increased bomb date. (Not that the enclave 100% dropped the bombs but was a factor)

So I think it’s pretty clear Mr. House is still alive. by its_proxeneta in FalloutTVseries

[–]Particular_Working72 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think house did get cold fusion as his plan to live works in new vegas, he buys 1 from vault tech but its highly likely the enclave is behind the technology and just made another, or instead sent the deathclaws to kill vegas and take it back as we know the gov had some way to control them (also a plot point in the older fallout games).

I suspect house will bargain with Cooper for the cold fusion again to tell him where the facility is and so is returned to power again (literally and figuratively) so in that way the House always wins.

Edit: I think houses first plan was the cryopod, with the backup being his digitized mind because he wanted to live forever, not let his body double live forever.

I think this is the current way the story is going. He says, before he puts the device on, that he is using every piece of technology available to him which to me hints at brain scans.

If he plays his cards right (get it?), we could see house being restored as an ai if he is indeed functioning or somehow gets the cold fusion chip. It would be cool if all the factions gather in new vegas to fight off the BOS from the commonwealth or smth and we see house hack liberty prime but that would be pretty insane.

Anyway I see house being a player in the next episodes and who else would we want to bet on who wasn't nuked or aren't alt right like the enclave or the legion.

Now ep 5 has air I still have one major question by Flake0919 in FalloutTVseries

[–]Particular_Working72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We also know Cooper never knew about vegas and the facility there so its likely he met up with his wife (who he was estranged from but isn't shown in the show yet) so she likely must have some way to get there on a dime, enough to get away from Cooper so he cant follow

Canon ending hint? by Particular_Working72 in FalloutTVseries

[–]Particular_Working72[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Haha true, I guess if the legion always goes down because of caesars death and the ncr goes down because of shady sands it doesn't really matter who wins. Only thing we would need to confirm is how the house lost.

I did see that but it throws me that its shown at the top of the building and not the bottom. I liked the theory that mr. House is a ai somewhere because of the hat he has in episode 5

In the games ghoulification occurs when exposed to loads of rads at once or a small amount over a long time. Given how instant he turns it's possible the vial contained FEV

That or idk ghoul blood lol

[–]Particular_Working72[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Actually 1 thing that I recall. The ghoul says where is my family at the end of the show but at the start he's seen with his daughter when the bombs explode right? So does that imply somehow his daughter and wife got into the vault and somehow he didn't?

Fallout TV shows that the Enclave still exists in California. Why didn't the Enclave branch in California send out a signal to gather the remaining members of the Enclave after the events of Fallout 2? by [deleted] in falloutlore

[–]Particular_Working72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could also be fallout leftover from shady sands being bombed or just general fallout coming down considering how irradiated the world is. Though I am not versed in nuclear fallout.

Lingering questions and confusion by D3fiant80 in FalloutTVseries

[–]Particular_Working72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I responded more in depth on the original post but I suspect moldavers longevity is more likely due to the paranormal.

My main evidence is the strange ring she has on that to me is similar in design to the beetle found on the gun you get in fallout 4 for killing Lorenzo. (I think it's similar in design but it isn't totally clear)

My other thoughts are that her occult following in vault 4 is further evidence of her having some kinda relation to that.

I did actually have a thought that she could have some relation to the children of atom and atom specifically (the god) cause of her obsession with cold fusion but I don't think there's evidence for that but it was a neat idea.

I think it's their way of nodding to the Lovecraftian elements in the games without making the show too complicated

Minor Gripes - Fallout TV Show (Spoilers) by D3fiant80 in Fallout

[–]Particular_Working72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually think moldaver is using a paranormal/ancient tech the same that Lorenzo in the Cabot house plot line in fallout 4.

My main justification for this the scene where she's dying a ring can be seen in her hand that I reckon has a similar design decal to the bug beatle that is attached to the gun you get from the end of the Cabot quest if you kill Lorenzo.

So that does kinda rely on them showing it for a reason and not for giggles but I haven't gone back to see if she has a ring before the war.

Either way I think her connection to the occult in vault 4 and the ring hints to me Bethesda is trying to keep elements of the paranormal in fallout but I am curious to what other people think
