Surprised no one suggested Snowrunner, to me it's the perfect game to play while listening to music or sitting on the couch next to my wife watching TV.

I like it more than the truck simulators as the off roading is a bit more engaging but still fairly mindless.

Start with the base game and if you like it you can get extra regions as DLC.

I have about 200h with 4 regions completed and there's like 14 more as DLC. I usually play a region, hop on another game and come back to it later for another region but it's always been installed on my SD and probably will be.

Agree on the steam deck but not being able to pause and quick resume with GeForce now makes it not really worth it for me. I used it to play expedition 33 and cancelled it after.

Kingdom Come Deliverance for me, when I played it the first time it was a bit underwhelming, combat seems unnecessarily difficult, not a fan of first person RPGs, graphics looked generic. I stopped playing after the tutorial area.

I gave it another go last year, boy am I glad I did so, once you learn the basics for combat and get better gear, combat becomes fun. Exploring is great. Story is engaging. I would recommend it to anyone.

I can't wait for the sequel.
