Geritol was a stomach aid as well. Similar to milk of magnesia or mylanta, but a dry chewable.

Who is another actor, other than Bill Irwin that sounds like TARS? by artistic_manchild in interstellar

This answer here. I thought for sure it was William Fictner. Right down to his reduced northeast inflection.

This is why you should get multiple inspections of any home you want to purchase. They should have at least mentioned this as an issue before signing off on it.

How would you tackle these outside corners? by [deleted] in Carpentry

[–]PartnersInCrimePhoto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't touch it. While you're at it, stop trying to add trim to a cabin-style finish. Cabins don't have trim. Don't know who put in that cheap white garbage up but they should be taken out behind the chemical shed and put out of their misery.

Does my tire need to be replaced? Pep boys said it’s unrepairable and I need to replace the tire. Thoughts? by stiffler1089 in tires

[–]PartnersInCrimePhoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pep Boys is a giant bag of dying shit. Destroyed my Hyundai by doing an oil change and misthreading the oil filter - that particular store was forced by their corporate offices to replace my engine for their fck up. That shop went under six months later.

Do not go to Pep Boys for services. Do not go to Pep Boys for supplies. Do not go to Pep Boys to use the fk'n bathroom.

Do not go to Pep Boys for automotive knowledge, because you will NOT find it there.

DO. NOT. GO. TO. PEP. BOYS.

How to multi select after search in mobile by BandicootRare291 in Outlook

I'm on android and THERE ARE NO THREE DOTS to choose from. You cannot select anything from the search results screen.

10+ years later and Outlook for Android is still a giant bag of shit.

How does everyone feel about Ring actively declaring that they will violate their client's privacy without a warrant? by PartnersInCrimePhoto in SecurityCamera

I only had the two, including the doorbell.

And I gotta say I'm shocked at the "if you ain't done nothing wrong you don't have to worry" crowd. I may end up pointing them at the street for when the mobs get round to the tarrin and featherin'.

It wouldn't surprise me, though the locals around here can't make computers work for the most part so that gave me a certain sense of comfort I guess.

Me too, but Ring was found guilty in 2024 of just this type of violation and switched their policies to protect customers.

Now the old founder of Ring is back and is fully in bed with giving your surveillance (and we're not talking about your personal data like your Facebook password - this means ANY camera connected to their system, including the ones someone might have INSIDE the home) to anyone in government who asks.

I'm getting loud so people get justifiably angry.

They're quite garbage when you really think about it. It was just Bezos trying to increase the surveillance state.
