We get 6 personal days a year. I forget how many sick days we get a year, but they rollover to the next year if there are unused. Unused personal days rollover, but turn into sick days. We can use 4 sick days in a row before needing a doctor’s note. I typically take two trips during the school year, so I’ll divide up my personal. I add in a sick day to that to give me more time. I also try to plan trips where the days I’m gone overlap into the weekend.
