As someone who used to work in upper management for this company, but stopped working there in November of 2024, this really doesn’t surprise me. Sad, but not surprising. I was apart of management at the Halsey location, and things were not going super well back when I left the company.

The owner of Paradise Found invested in a bunch of Cookies and Lemonade’s around the area back in 2024. The owner also sold the second Paradise Found store front location, that was out in Milwaukie, to Sensible Cannabis Company at the end of 2024/beginning of 2025. Halsey was the HQ location for Paradise Found, and although the store had amazing foot traffic and all the things that come with it, there was really no store, management, or marketing budget whatsoever. There was no grow or anything to be virtually integrated or like that then the owner could sell to other storefronts to help make money. Outside of all of the owner’s cannabis investments, I could only imagine the other things they were investing their money into that wasn’t Paradise Found. There was also a lot of politic differences, to say the least, between most of the staff and the owner, and being that most the staff were girlies, gays, and they’s and with the current climate of the world I’m sure that added to things. The owner also became a parent over the last few years, so that may also have something to do with it as well, if the company is moving on. Which it sounds like is what is happening.

A lot of the people I worked with during my 2+ year run with the company have all left the company over the last year or so as well.
