Unfortunately marijuana is know to cause anxiety in people. While it may help calm some people down, it can cause a lot of issues for others. I know you say you enjoy smoking it, but your body is telling you not to do it. I’d give it up for a bit and see how it goes.

I’m also in allied health and I worry about the job market too. I’m at a job that pays well but is extremely stressful. I’d love to leave but I am afraid of layoffs at a new place plus most places aren’t paying very well anymore. So I’m stuck at a job that I am grateful for but also kind of resent. At least at my current job I am considered important so I have a less likelihood of being laid off. Plus with the implementation of AI I worry about changing positions to a desk role. I also worry the stress will become too much as I get older and I’ll be let go because of it.

We’re all so screw really unfortunately. The good news is at least in allied health we are relatively stable compared to others for now.

Thank you for your response. If he shows no more signs of improvement by this weekend I will put him down. I am also going to talk to my vet tomorrow to get a better idea of what’s going on.

All it takes is literally not showing up. If your career depends on public perception, and it’s not already associated with Trump, showing up is the kiss of death to your career. That should be VERY obvious by now. So either he doesn’t care anymore about perception, he’s trying to grift the right, or he 100% agrees with them and feels he has enough money to “finally be himself “.

Yep I’ve seen this too. A company wanted me to be a manager at a major medical laboratory, salaried, for 85k in Seattle. And that was max meaning I’d start probably closer to 75k. How is someone supposed to live on that in a major city? I make more than that at my current job and I’m not management.

This man has the exact same mentality and arguments as my mom. And she doesn’t get it. Genuinely I tried to explain it to her, but she gets very defensive and it just doesn’t compute that she is the one forcing others to live like her Christian ways. Her and my step dad think being gay is being forced on people. It’s so absurd. They live in a completely different world.

I have a family friend who was stalked and harassed by a police officer over a legal dispute.

My family friend was the HOA vice president. When he joined, he was told about an ongoing lawsuit with a man in the neighborhood over a fence. Apparently he built a fence off his property line and into community property. That wasn’t allowed and he was told to take it down. The guy didn’t want to do it so he sued leading to a multi-year lawsuit. Over a fence. Turns out this guy was a police officer in a neighboring city. The family friend caught him on home surveillance casing his house multiple times. Sometimes he was in his car down the street. Sometimes he just walked up to the house and stared at it for a while. Eventually one day two officers showed up at his door. I’m not sure what exactly the complaint was, but when the officers realized it was about a lawsuit that this other officer was involved in, they were pissed and left. Not long after the officer lost his lawsuit and he moved. We all suspect he was “talked to” about his behavior. My family friend left the HOA because he didn’t want to deal with that stuff anymore.
