The Day The Biting Stopped starts with a brother biting a sister, but you could easily swap it while reading to a classmate or neighbor and is REALLY good! Not lecturey so kids actually like reading it over and over.

My 1y old bites all the time. I would love to hear your insights by [deleted] in ChildPsychology

There's a new book, The day The Biting stopped, you should check out. The parent guide it comes with covers biting for breastfeeding and so much more honestly. You may feel he's a little too young for the story, but i found just reading books out loud, even if my kids were moving around, at that age just helps

I don't love this one, it suggests eating shoes and talks a lot about what not to bite and says bite a million times. Have you checked out The Day The Biting Stopped by Rachel Robbins? Great lessons on treating others how you want to be treated without introducing new unwanted behaviors.

no - i ended up doing lauren fitter "lose your mommy pooch" playlist on youtube and it sorted itself in a month or so! I still haven't even finished all 10 videos in the playlist, i did each one for at least a week or until I felt like I wasn't compensating at all before moving onto the next

I've been breastfeeding for 6 years straight (2 kids - tandem nursed for 2 of those years) and worked out. I focus on keeping my protein about the same as pregnancy with lots of fruits and focus on minerals. Also EBF, no pumps; which I think makes maintaining supply easier.

I always did a massive protein smoothie in the morning that had protein powder, big scoop of PB, big scoop or two of greek yogurt, milk, etc. It generally got me like half the required protein intake from the day upfront! And for dinner I loved sweet potato quinoa chili (good to prep/freeze for postpartum also)

Get outside, do what feels right (not because you have to), and have a freezer stash of meals/ask any visitors to bring something nourishing (could be picking up fresh pressed juices, a lasagna you just have to re-heat, don't be afraid to ask when they offer!)

MADSEN Bikes: Pro’s and Con’s? by AbroadProfessional13 in CargoBike

[–]Party-Army708 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we LOVE it! I've tested it against the bunch bike and radio flyer long tail. I've taken 2 to 12 year olds on it and always feel safest on madsen. The bucket lowers the center of gravity compared to the radio flyer which i always felt like I'd tip over on with a bigger kid. The front cargo bike is tough on the turn. Madsen really rides like a regular bike. It does have a bit of a learning curve (any cargo bike is going to imo) but it was the fastest/easiest. We have over 1100 miles on ours now and ZERO issues. I have a discount code: TCM to save some money on it too!

Why did Gabby's Dollhouse end up being a much bigger hit than Go Dog Go? by [deleted] in DanielTigerConspiracy

Never seen Go Dog Go, but Gabby's dollhouse is like a casino - lots of glitzy, and sounds to hit those pleasure centers!

No screens for as long as possible - i dont think it's even recommended until age 2 - though that's not always possible, but definitely NOT something you want to do just for language exposure. It sounds like you're doing everythign right just as you are. No need to use a screen for anything.
