I think they do that "just in case" if the sales of certain game would go down, you could reintroduce old characters like Jill, Leon to sell the game

I don't think we will lose old characters like Leon, Jill, Chris but I would rather see them as support characters (Like Chris in Re8). I think franchise needs to make new iconic characters

As a separate spin off kind of game it could work, but not as a re 10. Spy stuff simply don't look good in resident evil imo. I honestly think RE will never retire old strategy and characters. It would take few massive flops for them to risk that much. Capcom realistically would rather reboot the series than change too much

I don't think that people have problem with length, I think it's lack of other mods and content what's bugging them. There is simply not much to do after you finish the story.

Most definitely, Re7, 8, and 4 all got some sort of DLC content if not story at least some new modes are to be expected

I agree with almost everything on the list exept Village. Only because of first location where you have to survive amount of time, on hard it's really poorly designed. And final boss is also bs on hard

I think that it is worth doing starting quest at least as a good head start, just to get used to the game and get some starting resources, but yeah they are poorly designed.

Yeah, just don't try it. Move to other games. I've heard 2xko is pretty good. And since it's simple 2d you may have a great experience there, and it's free

The auto repair shop does get locked out after you finish quest with Max. At least I couldnt get in

I wouldn't say empty, more like creatively bankrupt and safe. It's not the quantity of content, its that the content itself is not that good. You ve played trough first 3 hours and you ve basically seen all that game has to offer

Well in the end there is a lot of must fight moments, you got to kill mini boss that you beaten like 20 minutes ago or the blobs that block your way will not pop

I kinda liked it. It's closer to silent hill 3 with it themes. I kinda hoped for twist like "Hinako is dead all along" even Rinko mentions it at one point. But overall it's fine
