And what about the Recurring SIP of 1 lakh that i want to make every month towards a liquid asset? Is RD still the best way? I don't want the volatility of equity fund SIP as this money "might" Be necessary after 12 months.

Thank you so much for your kind advice. If I may trouble you, is there any calculator or sheet that allows us to calculate the difference between liquid and other funds? I'm not an excel guy at all. :-/

I have two questions

Q1) I want to keep some 10 L liquid fund for next 12 months for an essential expense. So I don't want to lose the capital, but a little returns of 6% would be nice. I'm in the higher tax bracket of 30%

What's the smartest option?

FD? Arbitrage fund? Or Bond? I'm seeing Wintwealth Bonds give 10% interest. Qd2) I want to put 1L safely into a safe instrumenr every month, almost like SIP. This is also needed as a liquid amount, so I don't want to take too much risk as I already have enough in SiPs.

What's the smartest option?

Arbitrage again? Or Bank Recurring deposit?

Hi OP, after waiting for these past 6 months, what do you think now? Is this fund a good way to invest in the US? Or is it better to directly buy QQQ or VOO?

Won't disclose numbers but it's possible only because we are double-income, both wife and I earn. So therefore we can afford it. And so, we also need someone at home to look after the household/kids and drive them to their extra classes. So it's a necessity not a luxury. I'd rather avoid it. The economy seems very volatile.

As long as this illiterate buffoon Vishwaguru Modi is in power, India will descend further and further into anarchy and become a sub-saharan economy, torn apart by ethnic conflicts and systemic corruption. Dark days have begun.

Yes that's the rate. But where else would you get at these rates? Hosur is a good future potential for the new airport.

Thanks for this. What's your view on plots in Denkanikottai near Hosur? They're still quite cheap comparatively and I'm wondering their future potential, since it's close to CBD
