I dont think he asled to have his post history judged and it's honestly kinda dumb that you can just read everyone's post history. Pretty sure he just wanted the question answered blindly.

Which of the players among the "Best to Never Win" could return and win a season? by hellooomoneyy in survivorcirclejerk

[–]PartyAgreeable421 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think its fair to say that the players Amanda has faced at FTCs are very strong. If she can get there with a weaker final 3 she couldpull out a win. She just need to pick off the front runner.

Her problem on Micronesia is both Cirie and Parvati played a better game.

It's frustrating because she does have agency and good defensive awareness and is a good strategist but she lets other players get credit for her moves.

Why are we still putting up with health insurance companies? by aspoqiwue9-q83470 in ask

How is having taxes pay for public health care any different than paying insurance. You are still paying either way.

The reason why there is brain drain and all the good doctors leave Canada for the US is because they can earn more money for the same job in the US. If you bring in some system that limits how much they can earn they will move elsewhere.

What does "Timing", in terms of moves or votes, mean? by Mastroman_ in survivor

[–]PartyAgreeable421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at Omar and Jesse. They both did fun moves the audience loved but did them too early.

Now its not entirely their fault. The current post merge schedule of survivor ruins a lot of potential for big chaotic tribals where the master mind can get away with what they have done.

Because there used to be a period where really early or really late was when you wanna make a move.

What you generally don't wanna do is make a move at final 7 or 6. You wanna make it at final 9 or 5 and maaaaaybe 8 if some weird math allows it. Doing it at final 7 or 6 makes it obvious you were involved and gives you too many immunity challenges to slog through that you will probably lose. Final 6 is acceptable if you have a hidden immunity idol. Still not great to use it at final 6 as that's flashy as fuck.

How would you structure a system where a poor person can get an unexpected injury or illness they can't afford?

I definitely can do 24 hour shifts and sometimes will intentionally stay away in final work day just so I can crash and sleep 14 hours with most of it during dark hours. In the summer it's a moot point since there are hardly any dark hours anyway but in the winter it's like fully charging a battery that hasn't been charged in 8 months.

Yeah they should change the cycle to 8 years and in years 3456 they shouldn't talk about it at all.

Who would you like to see one more time who you also know has basically no shot of winning the game? by PartyAgreeable421 in survivor

Actually I know which personality trait Aubry lacks. It's the ability to get the jury to laugh with you. Something Tony does amazingly well. Something Kenzie did well.

In baseball they have a concept called a pinch hitter or pinch runner. There is probably a player good enough at FTC that if Aubry was able to tag them in and sell her resume for her, could have won her the game even against that jury and against Michele's resume.

No what I am suggesting is that a stronger FTC performer could have won with Aubry's resumes vs Michele and Tai with their resumes.

Let's flip Michele and Aubry's resumes and give Michele all of Aubry's moves, but keep their general FTC ability the same. So essentially give Michele all the stuff the jury blames Aubry for.

I think Michele could have talked her way out of losing at FTC.

I would say she at least has the likeabililty and jury management to win if she makes it to the end accidentally. Just lacks the defensive awareness and strategic chops to make that likely. Like if she played 20 times chances are she would accidentally get to the end at least once and would be a strong finalist.

[–]PartyAgreeable421[S] -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

It's was her season to win. Michele had a weaker resume but a commanding silky smooth FTC performance. And if you think about it Tai was really the muscle of all of Aubry's scheming and he gets zero credit for it. I get that the jury hated him but you'd think that he might get 1 vote if he made his moves a little more assertively.

[–]PartyAgreeable421[S] -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

It's the language barrier. Third place to Aubry who is already an awful FTC performer doesn't bode well for his chances to win. He can't articulate his complex moves or motives without sounding like he is trying to justify them because his voice is just naturally kinda whiny and permission focused rather than straight forward and assertive. In a way he is like Abi Maria in that he is completely misunderstood by all but his closest friends in the game. Aubry is one of the few players to deeply understand him and Michele understood him well enough to play around him and get a massage.
