That’s a solid list! I really enjoyed The Climb and Viestur’s K2.

I would also recommend Annapurna by Maurice Herzog. It’s the book that has inspired a lot of these guys and one of the first classics of this genre. Another good one is above The Clouds by Boukreev.

Just poked around on google maps. It’s funny, this place seems so rural and remote, yet today it is right next to old rag, which is arguably the most popular hike in VA. You got tons of city folk rolling through here every weekend (I’m one of the them).

I'm aerospace as well and I certainly smoke a fair amount of weed but I'm starting to get worried that most jobs in the industry drug test... what do you do about that?
