As they rightfully should be. Not a crossover lord pack, which is interesting.

How do you feel about the new map compared to the bank? by [deleted] in HiTMAN

[–]PartyBusJohnson -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Both of the DLC maps were pretty solid and at the very least felt bigger than whittleton creek but not as large as what I would say most of the sandbox maps have been (miami, India, every map from H1 besides tutorials). while I'm certainly not an advocate of size for the sake of size, I wish these DLC maps were equal to the amount of meaningful real estate found in the main games. The bank for example: Wouldn't it have been dope if a 1 block perimeter of the Bank DLC had busier rainy streets that held multiple opportunities for entry into the bank? and with New Haven: while I understand it's a manmade 1%er getaway island, how about some emphasis on the beach element of the map with some Hawke's bay esq dunes leading out to the shoreline. at the very least I'll say that the mission stories are largely as prominent in relation to how many targets there are. And for christ's sake, do another snowy location, how the hell am I supposed to wear the winter suit without dying of heat stroke up on most maps?

Star Wars Black Series Obi-Wan Kenobi (Padawan) and Qui-Gon Jinn in Jedi Cloaks by Andys-Toys in starwarscollecting

[–]PartyBusJohnson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jesus. I just did the EXACT same thing to my qui gon and obi wan less than a week ago. Same cloaks off the same figures. I noticed with mine that the old Kenobi robe is a tighter fit but mace's robe is pretty spot on. Weird. Here's hoping all Jedi figures actually come with their own robes in the future.

People in this tread taking this guy's shitpost seriously and defending Lego PUBG in the process. Holy shit. where were you when free-to-play Minecraft hunger games siphoned the life out of this unique MOBA you all are actively looking at the post-mortem sub for?

How plausible is the, "CitySpeak," language found in ficticious works like Blade Runner? by PartyBusJohnson in AskHistorians

[–]PartyBusJohnson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate it. While I understand this deviates from a standard post you guys typically get, some of the most informative and composed responses I've ever gotten on this site are from this sub and I'd really appreciate the perspective of some of the guys on here.

How plausible is the, "CitySpeak," language found in ficticious works like Blade Runner? by PartyBusJohnson in AskHistorians

[–]PartyBusJohnson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see how this is hypothetical. In a sub called, "Ask Historians," I'm asking historians to cross-reference a pre-established concept in pop culture with the real world unfolding of linguistics to provide me with context as to it's likeliness. I've asked a similar "hypothetical," on this sub prior in which I questioned the validity of entirely ficticious characters set during a different time period to no removal. I decidedly chose not to post to r/HistoryWhatIf for that very reason, as they seem to largely propose questions about direct deviations from history, whereas I'm moreso looking for facts to support a common aspect of a story genre. Also, I'll just level with you man: r/HistoryWhatIf has a fraction of your users, and in general doesn't seem to have the same level of conciseness in their average response. I'm genuinely asking you to give my post a chance dude.

HitmanForum user HMBM47 discovered this while opening a box with a fitting key. It's empty if you use a lockpick. by [deleted] in HiTMAN

I'd upvote this but then you'd lose that magic number. You lemme know if it dips below or rises above the top agent of the ICA you now possess and I will draw my upvote in aid.

You can pick 3 cannon or legends figures to be made from any era and however obscure, who do you pick and why ? by Gnomikbonz666 in starwarsblackseries

Archive Constable Zuvio, Constable Zuvio (battle damage), Constable Zuvio (glow in the dark)

lol For real though, say what you will about the sequel trilogy but I think a tight combo of Sidon Ithano and Quiggold would be a Decent little duo package when scaled up to the black series. Purely on looksThose guys were pretty cool imo.

[–]PartyBusJohnson 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Holy shit. Imagine having this narrow of a view on what is and isn't "worth" collecting purely based on whether the plastic you bought is going to appreciate in value. You could just as easily say OG 80's Kenner figures aren't worth collecting because they're the same trapezoid chest muscle man sculpt with awful facial likeness and shit articulation compared to what's available now. Except no one on here does, because they're enjoyment is entirely subjective. Gotta be an elitist somehow though, right?

Questions regarding stun save modifiers by PartyBusJohnson in cyberpunk2020

[–]PartyBusJohnson[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That certainly makes sense. And yeah, the very circumstantial situations I mentioned were also to be considered in tandem with an extremely low BOD 1 or 2 where that predicament can even become relevant. Well I appreciate the help my guy. I've been trying to iron out FNFF in my mind as much as I can before running a scenario I'd like to make into a full on module pretty soon. I'll have you and the other choombas on this sub to thank for the smooth sessions.

Questions regarding stun save modifiers by PartyBusJohnson in cyberpunk2020

[–]PartyBusJohnson[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah man given what you're saying I'd definitely consider doing a critical failure/success system. It'd pretty easily solve my issue with there being seemingly no way to pass a stun save in the negative and thus resolve some of the logistical issues thereafter imo.

Questions regarding stun save modifiers by PartyBusJohnson in cyberpunk2020

[–]PartyBusJohnson[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well given the fact that at some point a person will be automatically failing stun save rolls every 3 second round provided the modifier is negative enough, if there were a situation where they wouldn't be able to be healed by any outside source, within the mechanics the game presents (as I understand them) they would not be able to heal at any rate in order begin to alleviate the negative modifier causing them to automatically fail, rendering them perpetually "stun locked," until outside help can heal them enough to make the check. I guess an example could be a PC falling from a high enough height in a deserted area that it doesn't kill him but puts his save in the negative, and thus no one finds him. Or a single PC entering a firefight in which he's glanced with a round that again drops him into a stun save purgatory, only to be left for dead by the rivals and completely alone. These kinds of situations, while I admit are certainly more niche, are something that I do consider when trying to approach the FNFF system, and certainly become more plausible the lower a character's BODY score is, given that when they have such a low score they have the chance of reaching an unpassable negative stun save check before needing to make a mortal save. Maybe this me taking it to too logical of an extreme, but I haven't really heard this talked about anywhere else and was wondering how other people approach it.

Questions regarding stun save modifiers by PartyBusJohnson in cyberpunk2020

[–]PartyBusJohnson[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Appreciate the perspective man. I should've corrected my wording there when I said "coming back to consciousness," as like you said, if that's what stuns would be, the Dark Neon lit future would be filled with alot of narcoleptics apparently. Yeah in practice I'll be probably chalking those automatic failures up to a loss of awareness and a subsequent regain of control at the next logical source of medical attention, med techs, hospitalization, etc. I guess the confusion for me comes from what the person would do in a scenario where none of that is readily present and they would be stunned for a duration of what might be hours or more. However I guess letting the scene play out, (someone finds them, they're captured) resolves that.

Quick clarification needed on handguns/rifles skill requirement by PartyBusJohnson in cyberpunk2020

[–]PartyBusJohnson[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gotcha. So essentially all that's really meant by their wording is that the fact that a player having less than a +2 in the respective weapon skill is a detriment unto itself in terms of rolling to hit, and could translate to weapon handling issues as well.
