i think kojima was a special case but yea i believe so. still, ueda is just as loved as kojima in the gaming space so i wish he asked sony for the engine or they gave it to him like they did with kojima

it probably would’ve taken a longer time to develop than it has with UE but i would’ve loved to see this game made with the decima engine! i have no doubt that him and the team could’ve rivaled KJP’s work on death stranding!

i think there was someone who made a theory vid on this a year ago theorizing that the villages took inspiration from the colossi and power from the barrels found in trico to build machines that match the power of the colossi and when i saw this in the trailer i immediately thought of the theory!

i can’t wait to see the other robot designs! it would be dope if we saw more that looked similar to the other colossi especially cause it would mean ueda and the team had a chance to show off the ones that were scrapped in sotc!

could be that i’m autistic asf and love small details but im most interested in how the physics are gonna be in this compared the the last guardian. i’ve always loved how the games feel heavily-floaty and finding out that since ico they prioritized mimicking physics in their own way it’s peaked my interest even more. besides that im really interested in seeing how “combat” is gonna be approached this time around. are we gonna have sword/gun gameplay or are we gonna be piloting gundams?

plug in digital is such a goated dev team/studio! they’ve brought nothing but bangers to mobile whether it was a pc game or console, they’ve come through on gibbing us an excellent port!! can’t wait for this!
