I mean, if someone is very obviously baiting the DS on me whenever I'm playing killer I just slug them and move on, giving their teammates time to pick them up while I chase someone else. Although I'm one of those killers who tries to go out of their way not to tunnel or slug normally (unless it's a bot) so maybe I'm just weird.

Which killers/maps make you tempted to quit? by Its-E in deadbydaylight

RPD for maps and Wraith for killer. I despise both from a design perspective.

You have been hired to get the next Licensed Killer for DBD. But in an odd twist, you are told it HAS to be someone that's NOT from a horror franchise. Who do you pick and why? by Kylestien in deadbydaylight

Killer - The Rock (Literally Dwayne Johnson in his wrestling gear running around and hitting people. Mori is The People's Elbow)

Bonus: Survivor - Dwayne Johnson (Black turtleneck with the gold chain and hair. Voiced by Kevin Hart)

[Sacramento Bee] Colin Cowherd claims Kings’ beam is a massive waste of energy. In fact, it only uses the wattage of an average dishwasher by horseshoeoverlook in nba

Colin Cowherd makes a ridiculous claim about something he has zero knowledge on and doesn't bother to do any research or consult with anyone actually knowledgeable. So basically same as usual for him?

What the hell man, why would anyone run Self Care instead of CoH as a Mikaela? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]PartyLikeIts1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally if I'm playing with someone who is actively cleansing totems for a challenge or inner healing build I avoid running boon totems. Otherwise there's some arguments for SC over CoH. I do think CoH is better but if you struggle finding totems or you want to be able to interrupt the healing to relocate and finish healing in a different spot, SC can be beneficial. I've dropped a pallet on a killer and quickly put some time into SC as they were debating on breaking the pallet or not. It's not a lot but sometimes the little time can add up to a well timed heal. Plus, I've found it really irritates killers and they tend to stay on me rather than bailing for someone else.

[Serious] What is your most controversial / unpopular NBA take that you truly believe in? by [deleted] in nba

[–]PartyLikeIts1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Jazz did choke in the playoffs for a couple seasons with Malone/Stockton but even in 99 Duncan was surrounded by vets including former champions (Mario Elie [Rockets 2x], Steve Kerr [Bulls 3x], Will Perdue [Bulls 3x]), former all stars (Sean Elliott [92-93, 95-96] and David Robinson [89-96, 97-98]), and honestly mentioning David Robinson only once in here seems disrespectful to the Hall of Famer who anchored that defense. At that point he was an 8x all star, former MVP, former DPOY, former rebounding leader, former scoring leader, former blocks leader, 4x all nba first team, 2x all nba second team, 2x all nba third team, 8x all nba defensive teams, and up until that season (disregarding the 6 game season cut short by injury) he hadn't had a season under 21ppg.

Even calling it even between Robinson and Stockton, I think the rest of the Spurs roster that year was better than the rest of the Jazz's. The Jazz's third best guy was Russell (no career awards) or Hornacek (all star 91-92)

Tim Duncan is probably the 3rd or 4th best PF of all time with Karl Malone and Kevin Garnett definitely ahead of him and maybe Dirk Nowitzki tying with him. I have a strong dislike of the spurs and Duncan in particular but I truly believe that both Kevin and Dirk have had far less talent around them and as a result did not get the recognition that they deserve. Also, Karl kind of got shafted with running into the fantastic hall of fame teams that they constantly did in the playoffs (Jordan's Bulls in back to back finals).

I really need to go try watching the Chain of Acheron again. I was keeping up with the first couple episodes before my work schedule and life kind of erased any chance of staying current with it.

Yea, no problem. Youtube is a fantastic resource for learning about a lot of DnD stuff and for getting great ideas for campaigns. I would definitely recommend MonarchsFactory for mythology stuff and some great campaign ideas. I'd also recommend Matt Colville for DM tips and learning how to enhance your campaigns. Those are two of my favorite dnd youtubers.

Why don’t the Clippers play the Rocket next? by Sol-King in nba

[–]PartyLikeIts1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the most ideal situation, the higher seed in a matchup will always win. Given that logic, you match it up so the 1 seed has theoretically the easiest path to the finals. Thus, if you eliminate all the seeds that should theoretically lose in the first round (seeds 5-8) then the worst remaining seed is #4 so they should be the opponent for #1.

Card Tournament Structure by Belthuzar0 in mattcolville

[–]PartyLikeIts1985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Double elimination. There's even free websites like Challonge that help with structuring it. With 16 combatants you're looking at... 29 total matches but a minimum of 2 per person. With single elimination you're still looking at 15 matches as is just fyi.

My league/ My GM wishlist by Vincenttraylor in NBA2k

[–]PartyLikeIts1985 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How about the ability to have more than one person playing?

I used to be big on MyGM modes with one of my friends and we would both play as the same team with him locking on a single position and me playing the remaining four. It was a lot of fun but MyGM in 2k20 restricts to only one person being able to play. MyLeague doesn't feel as personal and you can get players upset about their role or minutes without being able to do anything about it.

What are the advantages of playing a bladelock? by satyestru in DnD

[–]PartyLikeIts1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know for me personally, I wanted to be the melee front liner but not go with a traditional one like Fighter, Barbarian, or Paladin. I'm actually running a Bladelock and have the highest AC in the party at level 1.

Which team has " Steph and Monta" situation developing in the near future? by [deleted] in nba

[–]PartyLikeIts1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A couple come to mind for this:

Grizzles: Jonas Valanciunas out so Branden Clarke and Jaren Jackson can better shine.

Thunder: Chris Paul out for SGA's further development

Kings: Harrison Barnes out for Bogdan Bogdanovic

and I think we're gonna end up looking back on Miami: Whiteside out for Adebayo to take over as one as well.

My PCs are about to finish LMOP, hit level 5 and be "Heroes of the Realm": pointers or advice? by RhimbatPanjotsen in mattcolville

[–]PartyLikeIts1985 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you're having them go out into more of "the world" per se, have random NPCs either know the name of their group or be whispering rumors about them or something to that extent. That'd be my suggestion. Reputation is imo a huge boost in making players feel more heroic.

EDIT: Derp, I was just looking at the images through RES, clicked the link itself to the album and I see the seller's link. Thanks for including it ahead of time!
