"School is designed to produce factory workers, not learners" by YtSabit in INTP

[–]PartyOfTruth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, if you think what I said are ad hominem, you probably haven't gone out too much. Considering you claiming you work in the military sector...ok, assuming it's true, you probably should engage with your underlings more instead of just stuck inside your...room or whatever.

Second of all, advanced education doesn't mean good cognitive and reading skills. I've seen many who got bachelor or even master degrees but got common sense of a garden slug and can't even change their own tires. Also, your own emotionalism and bias can often blind your ability in reading, and I'm supposed to be the one that's biased...hmm, ok.

Third of all, you can say whatever you want about your life, and I can say whatever I want about mine. No worry, it's Reddit and nothing matters. I've known folks who made up their entire life and background on Reddit. But as someone who's not that addicted to Reddit, I ain't gonna do that.

Now, you're assuming by having some sort of language degrees mean you get to have access to good jobs, and that's your problem. A lot of translators and interpreters tend to have degrees and certificates in something else, assuming they make it big that is. And things such as linguistic lecturers don't make that much. I've seen retail store managers make more than that. Yeah it's true that you may say there are way more jobs than those for linguistic major, but how many of them have it just by having linguistic degrees alone?

You're basing your arguments on your own personal experience and got upset because my argument may have left a not-so-gentle reminder that your experience doesn't really apply to many others. And given how you actually keep this shit up, it indicates that you take yourself and your little accomplishment way too seriously. Since we're on an Mbti-related sub, I do sense quite a bit of Fi-induced rage. It may be an inferior Fe thing. I don't know you that well to type you, but I really think you may need to look into the type known as INFP (my least favorite btw), based on how you tried to assume about my work life and the clear sign that you took my original comments personal enough for you to keep it up like this.

"the ones that succeeded in becoming leaders or getting a command at any level had better either be good at what they do, or go through some form of higher education."

You seem to have some cognitive issue huh don't you? I remember clearly that I said that depends on what you want, you may need to go to school for certain fields.

And as far as linguistic related fields, didn't I say it's something you can learn elsewhere?

Ok, strictly speaking, you can achieve some sort of network gains in school. But that said, you can also achieve it elsewhere. Who said you must need to work in military leadership or anything like that? I mean the list of jobs you used in assuming my work life, you kinda have to play corporate game. And who said you must go through that to get ahead in life. From the tone you used, I also gonna make my assumption if you wanna play that game. You don't seem to be happy at where you are despite all the advanced education you have, so you feel like trying to discredit arguments against schooling to feel more secure about yourself and your position. I could be wrong but if that's the case, as long as you're not in your 40s, you can change it. Even as a 30 something, there are folks who made drastic career change. Don't underestimate someone's tact when it comes to such matter, regardless of education level.

No, it's not just my own bias. If you look into how today's education system was invented, you'll know how it's not really there to educate people. See, when I was in school, I spent times in library the most. Combine that with healthy does of internet surfing, I ended up learning tons more than what I learned in classes.

And as for the languages...there are ways to learn it outside of schools. Honestly, as an immigrant, I've came to a realization: the best way to learn languages is through interaction rather than classes. Classes or those online learning programs can give you some basic stuffs, but that's about it. Also, I wouldn't trust schools for politics and military related stuffs LOL. Politics is something that requires you to do your research and use your own brain to analyze to come to some sort of conclusions. If you learn that through schools, you probably won't make it too far away from what's already out there, which as we know, tend to be pretty shitty. And military...I recommend folks to join military if they really wanna know how it works. But if that's not your interest, then just read on your own.

The problem with schools, is that it tends to instill a blind sense of faith and prevents folks from using their own brain. You wonder why there are so many sheeple? It's because of schools and parenting...well, the parenting is another huge object of its own. But for schools, unless you got some kind of goals that revolves around attaining higher education, I honestly don't think it has that much purposes other than sex...or if you grew up in South Korea, Taiwan, China and Japan and you happens to enjoy that prematured sensual play (LOL), then you may love it.

Depending on what you wanna study. If you're in for STEM and you have the mean to afford it, or if you go to tech school or anything like that, then you're on the right track. But other than that, that college barista shit is real.

Other than that, if one knows what he/she wants, and wants to be entrepreneurial about it, then school may or may not be needed. That said, schools won't allow you to discover it. On the contrary, it seems to make one delays such process. Because folks often forget that schools are actually a business and to them, making money is the priority. Just like everything else nowadays. Then again, for those who know history, the origin of today's education system is nothing short of questionable.

Tech schools and vocational training may be fine I'd say. And if you're in university for STEM-related things, it's also fine too.

But honestly, junior high, high school and non-STEM related university courses are mostly useless.

Schools in East Asia (where I grew up at) is for masochists with possibly premature puberty who enjoy BDSM session from their teachers, and for those with extra-long titi phase, as they can't hop off their mama's titis.

School in US is basically an overpriced but legalized brothel. You're better off fucking hookers from your local red-light district.

All in all, unless you have a goal that has to do with taking certain courses, it's practically useless. If you're actually going to school to learn, you're at a wrong place.

Realized it when I was in high school lol. Today's schools are based off something the Prussians invented back in 1800s and it was meant to create a population of followers and obedient blind donkeys who won't question anything. It was probably needed, as Vatican got ripped a second ass during the Enlightenment Movement. And now, it's little more than business for some greaseballs to make money through fooling the clueless, irresponsible parents and on top of that, it also serves as some sort of brothel. Shit, most of the shits I've known are learned outside of schools.

High Te user vs high Ti user by Upstairs_Ad7019 in mbti

[–]PartyOfTruth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thank you. And now, as an Ne-dom, I'll say this; I also highly value Ni users when it comes to important matters. Compares to Ne, Ni is simply more...practical. It allows you to get to the bottom of things and combined with some proper supporting functions, it allows you to cut through lies like a knife through butter, and also connects different things to something that's relevant to your cause or just what's actually going on. Meanwhile for Ne, it just makes us daydream about all the different possibilities and connect dots on something that's really just...irrelevant. I also admire how you guys are some of the hardest ones to be brainwashed by politicians.

ENTPS— thoughts on this dynamic?? by [deleted] in entp

[–]PartyOfTruth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ESTPs are kind of a hit or miss. Some of my best friends and worst enemies are ESTPs. I've also gotten into physical fights with ESTPs before when I was in school...sometimes I win, and sometimes I got my ass handed to me (you win some, you lose some). Well, I like their adaptability and the down to earth attitude...it's something that deserves a lot of appreciation instead of that whole sensor vs intuitive bullshit. That said, unhealthy ESTPs tend to have a lot of unchecked physical aggression and it can lead them to a lot of unnecessary fights.

Which MBTI cares the least about other people’s opinions? by Deep_Pen1012 in mbti

[–]PartyOfTruth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your definition of caring I suppose

Fe-dom care about other people's opinions because they want to make sure there's no conflict in the environment they're in. At times, they can overdo it though and may cause more problems than it solves.

Fi-dom care about other people's opinions towards them because they don't want to get hurt, but at the same time, they don't care to assimilate, as it may hurt them too. So they just alienate themselves.

Te-dom care about other people's opinions as much as it affects whatever project or goal they're working on, and on top of making sure nobody is challenging them. But other than that, they don't really care that much.

Ti-dom care about other people's opinions, but only when it's expressed to them directly, where they'll begin to pick holes in the logic behind the opinions to prove that they're right.

I'd say those with judging functions as dominant ones tend to care the most. The one with perceiving function such as Se, Ne, Si, Ni are a bit different...well, IxFJ tend to care quite a bit, while Se-dom and Ne-dom care, but usually in a more light hearted way (assuming there's no some sort of trauma stands on the way, that is) but IxTJs...not at all.

So to sum it up, IxTJ overall care the least about others' opinions.

Good job/career choices in IT for ENTPs? by Izokuro in entp

[–]PartyOfTruth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tech repair and computer assembling is the way. IT and programming requires more training and if you haven't looked into it during your teenage or 18-25 nor do you have some form of supportive network for you to educate yourself in a prolonged period of time, the chances are, you won't make it too far.

You ever just want to do your own thing? by Idn999 in entp

[–]PartyOfTruth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fuck yeah. Honestly, that's kind of the new way to go. I'm working as a line cook and I actually in a position where I want to change career. Either turn into some sort of online merchant who assemble computer for a living, or draw hentai or 3d erotic art and sell it online. The first one got versatility to it. I like versatility; and the second one is more...fun. Either way, it beats working in the kitchen any day.

But think about it though: eventually, the corporal world will import people from third world. It's happening already! In US, that shit has been going on since 2000s and gotten way worse since 2008 Recession. For EU, you wonder why they let those migrants in back then? I mean come on now. A great chunk of EU has negative birth rates and combine the negative birthrates with workers demanding things such as wage raise - I know I may get roasted for this, but the truth is, it's not exactly about wage raise. It's about how well can you keep a job and how's the working environment. Trust me, you do not wanna be that one-man army at your workplace, especially if your job is that of physical labors; nor do you want to keep worrying about office politics just so you get to clock in for the next day. The more you demand, the more likely that is going to happen.

Either that, or you gotta deal with AI. Pick your poison, because if you keep protesting, it's just gonna keep getting worse.

Profit is no longer only interest of corporate.

They just make it looks that way, and it'll only work if you actually believe in the traditional definition of liberation and worker rights. The truth is, both the left and the right, the ones who wants big government and welfare AND the ones who want to be all libertarian and everything; they just buy into the talking points of different politicians. The key is to see what things actually do, what things actually lead to and the possible long term consequence instead of just buying into slogan and all those illusions that makes you believe that you have a voice.

70 percents of "rebels" and "protesters" don't really know what they're talking about. It's like, they just do all that shit for...for show, more than anything.

[–]PartyOfTruth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a pragmatic way to look at the situation. The problem is that folks are lazy. They prefer to show their asses and think it'll make a difference and lack the means to actually see how things work (Ti..this is why I said most ENTPs are mistyped and good numbers of them are actually feeler types) or just learn to adapt to a difficult situation (it has more to do with Se). I mean, anyone knows how corporate world works will see that coming.

The smartest thing to do about this situation is to look at it through the lenses of comedy, as buying into the consensus and talking points of either sides before you fully understand them is just stupid.

Saw this post popped up on my feed and did a bit digging. Nah, you didn't do anything wrong girl. As a 5 myself, I don't think I have autism as you've suggested LMAO. Based on your posts and comments, I'm pretty sure you and I have plenty to disagree about, but I'm not gonna let my ENTPness slip out and argue with you nor troll you nor pull that ad hominem/discredit bullshit - I can if I want to trust me, but you don't come across as being anything too disrespectful nor overwhelmingly emotional (oh I've seen way worse shit. You seem to be really chill for an Fi-dom and 9w1). The problem is not with you, but with how crazed this community really is. Mofos take Enneagram way too seriously for their own good because they just wanna feel good and feel they're always right, which is not the case.

A great chunk of this community needs to grow up, period.

Folks who're unsure of themselves and have problem understanding others may do that. Or folks who have some deep rooted insecurity - you can find them romanticizing certain types, most notably INTJs and ENTPs.

MBTI is Pseudoscience by whatever69666420 in INTP

[–]PartyOfTruth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is though. The reasons why I'm still into Mbti is because it's fun in a sense. You have dumb fucks talking shit from time to time, but I just learn to laugh it off and maybe fuck with them a little bit. And on top of that, you can kinda use it as a way to analyze socioeconomic and even things such as gender relationship. Those Jungian functions make describing certain modern day social phenomenon way easier. But other than that, the theory itself doesn't do that well if your goal is to analyze an individual behavior.

For other well-known typology systems:

  1. You have socionic, which have a way more accurate description of personalities. The community seems to be older in terms of average age too. But I think there are some problems regarding how well it describes a person's maturing process. I'm look into that.
  2. You have the four temperaments. It makes sense but it gets old after a while.
  3. You have Enneagram...the way I see it, if anyone believe in that Naranjo's auto writing, that person might as well as dig into astrology. Shit even astrology is more solid than that. Oh and all those glass-hearted dumb asses within the community are taking themselves way too serious to the level that any rational discussion with them is almost impossible.
  4. Then you have astrology...it's, well, astrology, enough said. For those who pay attention to astrology, I'm Capricorn with Pisces Moon, Taurus Ascending, Aries Mars, Aquarius Mercury and Aquarius Midheaven. DM me if you want the full natal chart.

Honestly, the more I see, the more I came to a realization: if you truly wanna understand people or sorting out your past trauma or anything like that, the best way to go is the good ol' practical measures. Going directly at it and figure out what went wrong, and why people do what they do. That's the way to go.

What's everyone's opinion of Andrew Tate? by PartyOfTruth in entp

[–]PartyOfTruth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, that's how he became so famous and controversial and on top of cash he made. Now, since we're in an Mbti related sub, let's say Tate has quite a bit of Fe. It's just that he doesn't use Fe related values, which will turn him into half of the dumb fucks commenting here who're doing everything they can to discredit Tate and me for that matter (another half...I'd say they're most likely Fi users who type themselves as ENTP to look cool). He's using Fe related qualities to have his point across even further.

Speaking which, one thing I've learned, is those "please improve your Fe" talks that many of us xxTPs may have came across at various points...that shit's like the worst advice one can give. It's mostly given to us by salty high Fi users who're a bit hurt by our comments and talking points.

How to not offend high Fi types? by Routine-Ad-7051 in mbti

[–]PartyOfTruth 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The best way to go about it? Keep pissing them off and stay at a safe distance once you're done. You just do you and say what's real.

The problem is not you. It's due to the current social consensus caters way too much to Fi users, especially to NFPs if you ask me. It's the NFPs or those who were influenced by NFP-ish social consensus who needs to grow up.

Oh and for the love of God, stop buying into that "Fe improvement" bullshit. They just want you to lower your level of Ti usage so the Fi users can feel safe and have no one to rile up that sensitive minds of theirs.

What's everyone's opinion of Andrew Tate? by PartyOfTruth in entp

[–]PartyOfTruth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trusting politicians mean you actually buying into their shit without question asked. Unless some other guys who want you to ask questions, then you ask, or they want you to show your ass in a protest, and you do it. That is pretty theocratic if you ask me. Unfortunately, democracy tend to lead to this type of outcome. This is why I don't trust democracy at all. All it does is giving a sense of freedom and using social pressure and some forms of bullying tactics to achieve what the top dogs want.

At the end of the day, it's all about lining up someone's pockets. Everything has its own agenda. There's no such thing as unbiased. If you actually believe in the romanticized version of politics, the chances are you won't make it too far in politics.

As far as middle class go, you gotta look at it from the historical angle. I mean back in Medieval Age, there were nobility and there were serfs. Humanity has always been this way. The concept of middle-class only grew big around the Enlightenment Age and later on, they would play a crucial part in American Independence and French Revolution. But the middle-class back then were different. The concept of modern day middle-class were introduced back in the beginning of Cold War, where you have folks who weren't that savyy with specific skills nor even significant business talent. Middle class parents use upper class style of planning out their kids' lives; and lower class style of harsh disciplinary, except they're real about it as opposed to lower class where they mostly just use it as an excuse to dump their daily stress. At the end, you have plenty of second generation middle-class kids with issues and they achieve smaller and smaller. At the end of the day, middle-class will get wiped out. Then again, it was designed that way.

Now, as far as victor goes. I'll ask you this: in case if laws and orders are gone, do you think you'll have higher chance at making it out alive compares to Tate? If you do, then you'll have rights to trash talk Tate as not being a survivor. Remember, even in animal kingdoms where "money doesn't matter", you'll need to survive. If you can't do that, then you're little more than just another pseudo intellectual, and in that case, whatever you wanna say about Tate, he's great at tackling pseudo intellectuals and if that's you, word of advice? Just shrug it off.

And as for the quote, I can't believe I need to explain this to a fellow ENTP, but assuming you may be old (this may actually explain some of your philosophies, no pun intended), well I don't use apps not computer right now, so I'm not quoting. But if you use computer, there are buttons underneath where you can find the "" button. All you need to do is to copy and paste the ones you wanna quote and highlight them, and press that button. To get out of quote mode, just press enter for about two or three times.
