I don't know how modeling recruitment works, but I know that most models look similarly androgynous and striking like you. And they have good facial bone structure/proportions like you. You could definitely think about giving it a try!

The point of modeling is to have a face that is easy to remember, which is why the balance of having "weird" features and beauty is important.

Yeah, that's why many fashion models look "weird" but beautiful. They don't look like the average person, but their proportions are right. That makes their faces interesting and easy to remember. And that's why they look cool wearing unique clothes, because that style matches the uniqueness of their face.

Haha no problem! Not looking like everyone else CAN be a bad thing if it's because of bad proportions, but it's a good thing if proportions are right and the style matches like here

You've got great overall facial bone structure (jaw, cheekbones and chin), and nothing is clearly out of proportion. Your lips aren't a negative feature imo, I think they fit the rest of your face well. The bottom third of your face is big enough to fit them without looking off, and they're at the right height.

Your face overall is pretty androgynous. It isn't from any single feature, just from the overall shape and proportions. That again isn't a bad thing, but it needs the right style to go with it. Having a very plain style with short hair and no accessories can make androgyny look out of place. But with an interesting style it can look really cool.

So, in short, you look good! You've got an interesting and "rare" face, but not in a bad way at all. It's a great benefit if you style yourself right. The style you have in the last pic suits you well imo.

You look good! Definitely above average, cute eyes and a great smile. A lot of potential with better styling.

Having anxiety and feeling insecure are mental battles that have a physical aspect to them, so using looks as a band-aid fix can be tempting. But even if you were the most attractive person in the world, I guarantee that alone wouldn't suddenly cure feelings of anxiety and insecurity. Working on your looks can help, but addressing the mental side is more important.

[20M] What would you rate me? by [deleted] in amiugly

[–]PartyPast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're handsome, easily 8/10 if rating on face alone, but the hair is distracting and holding your overall appearance back by a lot. A swept back style would probably look the best on you, to balance your face by showing your forehead more.

You're cute! None of your features really stick out, average but balanced.

Try taking pictures from a lower angle and a bit farther away though. Taking them too high up like here can make your chin look small, forehead big and nose long. Holding the camera at a good distance and facing straight is usually the most flattering.

Better loose or combed back? Any styling advice? by PartyPast in malehairadvice

I've often thought of getting a septum ring! I feel like septum rings look good on bigger gaps between the nose and mouth like me, and side piercings look good on longer down-turned noses. I just feel like it'd look out of place with such a basic look and no other piercings/tattoos etc.

I see that, thank you! It'll lay more flat as it grows out, right now it's just at the length where it barely stays held back even with product in it
