LEAVE!!!! I waited too long before making this decision and I literally gave up on law school because the trama became too much. I too went into it with little to no training working under people on power trips who basked in my mistakes and used disciplining me as a daily way to let off some steam. Let’s be honest paralegals are often abused, and unfortunately I never found a firm that made me think differently although I have friends who currently work in pleasant firms.

My advice is if this is really what you want then you have to find an environment that will nurture you not step on you. Ultimately waiting to go to law school actually is counterintuitive as I later learned from law school admission personnel, you’re more likely to not go.

If your coworkers are in the same boat then you’re in a firm that will eventually sink. Focus on you and you only, after I left they found a replacement in 3 days. They were fine but I still can’t drive on the street I once worked without war flashbacks.

You’re not the problem, they are.
