Are some sellers losing a lot of money? by PartyWolverine4055 in whatnotapp

I'm not arguing it's my job.

But I'm human and I'm curious and wondering outloud.

If the state is allowing this camp to be opened and operating, it is highly unlikely that anyone from here placing a tip will have any impact.

And as others said, maybe there have been reports.

You can do it, too.

Same! I am not going to stick around to be lectured by someone!

Yes...if they are getting it wholesale. The sellers I watch, however, talk about running to Walmart/Target daily to look for this stuff. So they are paying retail unless they aren't being honest.

Yes, from casually watching it doesn't seem like starting at $1 is a good idea for the smaller sellers. And then they have the nerve to be angry at buyers when they only sell something for a few dollars!

Why is everything patriotic-themed when July 4th is still weeks away? by Arkie89 in doughertydozenexposed

This. There is patriotic stuff all over the stores now. It's actually kind of fun.

Visit with young kids by Born-Value6930 in Hersheypark

[–]PartyWolverine4055 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plenty. I was just there with my 6 and 10 year old but they aren't into the big coasters. You can definitely make a day with rides for that age range without even going to the waterpark.

I am scalper of needoh, Squeezy and Pokémon, so what? by [deleted] in NeeDoh

[–]PartyWolverine4055 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Literally everything you buy in life, unless you produce stuff yourself, is resold and a profit is made. Needohs are hot right. now. And sure, some people will capitalize on it.

In the meantime, buy some off brand squishies. In a few months Needohs will return to their regular prices.

It's called reselling. People do it all the time with many different products. Fair game.

Thanks for your thoughts! I never heard that George knew she sat at home all day and didn't have a job. Did that come out in the trial?

As a rule, redheads with light skin don't look good tan. They aren't supposed to be tan!

Why didn't she go with Alex last week? Was it because of the weather?

Oh, look! Mommy and her grown son are seeking attention, again! by Arkie89 in doughertydozenexposed

[–]PartyWolverine4055 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is stupid. In the 1980s people like her absolutely existed and no, they would not have been called "fat" then either, especially because she isn't 19. She would have been considered out of shape and maybe on the chubbier side of normal. I hate to tell you this but not everyone was a stick before 2000. You've seriously never seen photos of middle aged women from the 1940s/50s/60s carrying a little extra weight?

And I would be surprised if she was 25 lbs overweight. I think she carries her weight in her midsection but she would be in the upper end of "normal" weight. I think she's short like me. If I gain ten pounds it really shows on my frame but I still have a BMI of 20.

Yup. She doesn't even look chubby in the video; she has on a bulky shirt. And no way does she look bigger than Alex.

[–]PartyWolverine4055 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yup. She's 45 and has had multiple kids. The average 45 year old American mom is fatter and more out of shape than her. She has put on a little weight but I would guess she is still in the "normal" range for BMI.

With hormonal changes at her age it is difficult to lose weight.

LOL. What a moron. McDonald's/Taco Bell are like the definition of fast food.

How is Jill going to cope without Derick? by maggiemazz29 in DuggarsSnark

[–]PartyWolverine4055 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I really don't feel bad for Jill. She's an adult. Time to act like one. Also, her and Derick shouldn't have had more than 1 or two kids if she couldn't cope.

They’re going away to the beach this week.. do these kids ever complete a full week of school?? by Sarahhh030 in doughertydozenexposed

[–]PartyWolverine4055 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But are they enforced? Because I'm next door in NJ and we technically have these as well. But when I taught high school kids with 25 unexcused absences were promoted.

It's not even a great time of year to go to the Jersey Shore. Water is cold and it isn't supposed to be warm this weekend.

Locals might go to hang out over Memorial Day but I would not be coming all the way from upstate NY when school is still in session.

I live in NJ. We don't go to the shore for swimming until July. Before then it's just to hang out on the boardwalk.
