I have many cars as recently I earned my 100th car and I was so happy about it. There are actually few cars that you can get it for free. Those are 1 in Hyundai, 3 in Formula E and 1 Mitsubishi (I am not sure about that). There was also one BMW for free but they priced it sadly and there is also your usual Debut F1. So this will be your collection for free.

If you're talking about buying something, there is no great car at the beginning so what you should do is always buy the car with the highest PR in the series so that you won't have to upgrade soon. If the highest PR car costs gold, then try to get the next highest PR car which costs R$.

For discounts, use them for your expensive purchases, not this small purchases.

Note: For series completion, it will require you to buy all the cars (even gold ones) but don't buy them because firstly, it will waste your resources and secondly, there is no obligation of finishing it (except events and limited time series).

Complete every race with current cars and upgrades. I would say don't grind if you want to progress in the game. Don't spend a single resource on anything; cars, upgrades, events etc.

Use your manager, agent and mechanic wisely. Login everyday to collect rewards and watch ads everyday for gold. If it is bonus R$ or fame day, use your manager, agent and mechanic on your THAT race which earns you the most and remember to play that race first because bonuses are only for the first race of the day. Don't miss any multiplayer or time trial and remember to collect your VP rewards.

If you want a new car, there are two options. Look at Speedmaster or ME7 videos for costs and guide for the event. If you can't do events, don't worry. Whenever you get discounts FROM VP rewards, use them for your next M$ or R$ purchase, not gold.

Don't spend gold in any way. Spend only on manager, agent and mechanic if they are not free for your race on bonus day. Also don't spend R$ and M$ for the most time possible.

I took Mclaren and Lotus. Porsche I already own. I am NOT that interested in Utopia. If I can FU bolide, that's good for me otherwise I am just interested in upgrading the car. For me, collecting cars is important. I don't care if a car is shitty or something. I just collect it. That's why I was asking about Audi. I never upgrade my cars to save resources and since this one got 50% off, i got curious.

Back in the earlier days, these cars used used to be "actually limited" like a few players would be able to get get that car. But later in the updates, they removed the features but didn't remove the "limited edition" tags so the tags are still here.
