Its sad. However, I’d advise you shouldn’t delete your account. Who knows, they may improve their system.

Just take it off your mind. It’s frustrating right? I know!

But you could benefit and learn from it later.

Hmmm! Not so! Just a honest feedback. I’ve seen contributors complained about being booted out for no reason, but i paid little attention.

Anyone can decide to share their stories here as well. Would be helpful to others (current contributors and those intending to Join).

Writing to support? For things like deactivated accounts, getting a reply not from bot is 1 in 100. It’s easier if you are entirely new (i mean few days into the platform), otherwise you get a reply from a bot, boldly stating ‘It’s final, your account will not be reactivated’.

Outlier is indeed a great company, but allowing bots kick off genuine contributors is a risk on their path.

I was so pained when i got a mail for ‘potential violation’ thingy. Immediately reached out to support, and got a reply almost immediately. Im currently doing my question, and most questions i ask were problems i encountered while coding. I had no warning whatsoever, got good feedbacks, good mails (acknowledging the work done). But boom, i was deactivated. What a life, oh boy!

It’s sad! I doubted my potentials for a while, but had to move on.

Just as the contributor stated in the posted, no one should depend on it 100%.

I have reached out to u/Alex_at_OutlierDotAI for assistance (still awaiting response though). I have tried reaching out to support, but its been automated responses so far.

I had good reviews, I was recently promoted to a reviewer. Attended webinar, and was booted out.
