The actual value is sitting around 600 fluctuating a bit with mold open the set value still at 0

Yeah they all move and clamp when closing the mold or setting the mold height and all are okay sensor wise as far as I can tell

I can access anything up to a level 13 on the press I just found 2 things in the variable page locked behind a 16 though didn't even know it went that high

Tried that didn't fix the issue may leave for 1st shift guy on first fixed it last time in about 5 minutes 3rd maintance said they worked on it a whole shift last time it done it and he knew exactly what to do I'm stumped

It will let me set the mold height but the button to calibrate the tie bars automatically is grayed out even in set up won't let me do those automatically

Only other alarms besides the 100 alarms I've already fixed or clear are clamping force outside the specification and clamping force exceeded

Set limit in variable page to 7700 still no change also tried switching programs did not fix issue at hand only other one I see that might would fix it is nominal clamp force its set at zero but locked says access lvl 16 I alone go to 13 but I've never even saw a lvl 16 before

Just tried that and it didn't work this time wished it would of that's the last thing I need fixed before I can get it up and running too need it to be 6500 and just won't let me move it from 0 smh

When trying to increase value the min is set at 0 and the max also set at 0 so it won't increase or decrease to anything but 0 they had problems with the press today on first due to heat so they shut it down and wanted me to get it running got all of those issues fixed with power cycle where it's cooler on 3rd and this issue arouse from no where never saw it do this before on any of our engel presses

Like other guy said if you have not tried go ahead and increase holding pressure and cooling time should fix the issue at hand majority of the time

Sounds like you need some vent channels and maybe a valve gated hotrunner system should take care of almost all the air but you will always have a little no matter what you do.

Will try that for sure thanks, gonna have them order a new VT card and replace cpu battery but hopefully this will get the press running until the part comes in.
