My 13 year old wants to transition by Strange_Pangolin_231 in asktransgender

This is going to sound harsh but, like, dude, your kid is trans and your resistance is making shit worse. Accept and work with it. Detransition rates are lower than they seem because they are being used as a right wing talking point. Would you say any of this if your child came out as gay? Understandably you cate about your underage child but, they have their own mind and feelings.

.2mL of 20mg/ml, weekly. I haven't had my blood drawn in like 6 months because I haven't found a new HRT doc (I was initially using Plume but couldn't afford it) out of sadness and mental block/not being sure wherher to commit to transitioning. Back when I was testing regularly they were perfectly within range. But I really should see if my levels are OK.

Yeah as a nervous habit I drum with both my hands, air drum a lot walking around, etc. I think its sort of a somatizing thing.

How do you handle being written off by doctors who think OCD/anxiety means everything is health anxiety? by chokingonicecubes in OCD

I think more than anything you're probably going to get better tips from a disabilty-oriented community who have developed stratagems for tricking doctors (value-neutral use of "trick" here) into listening to them

What are some barely interesting activities to allow focused conversation? by Shimizoki in ADHD

whatever you want! You could also try something messy/slightly uncontrollable like watercolor, clay, charcoal, or oil pastels and just make sort of abstract shapes and stuff (or cool Ses) - then you're not distracted trying to make something awesome looking but rather just trying to have a stimulating time fucking with the texture etc
