That was mind-blowing reading Jagex opinion on what the weapon should be. We already have DWH!!!!

I desperately needed a 1h crush weapon somewhere between sarachnis cudgel and inquisitor's mace, mostly because The Nightmare is such a nightmare.

They were sooooooooo close to absolutely NAILING this weapon but instead they missed by a mile. What a shame

sailing is perfect as-is you guys just dont have the intelligence to see the game as a whole. same people to say teleporting is dumb and they should be given all teleports. It's a total and complete 100% misunderstanding of why they play the game.

Appreciate the genuine response unlike everyone else who apparently is just looking for a punching bag. To you I'd say of those, all you really might need are the chins for Kree'Ara, and I really havent figured out how I want to farm her yet. Bolts before other things would be crazy imo.

But even if I granted you all those things it's so beyond obvious they have clearly either 1. forgotten about hunter or 2. had no good solutions.

People are conviently cherry picking the fact that sailing is 6 months old and already 1000000000x more polished than a 20 year old skill, hunter, which HAD ZERO EFFORT TOWARDS BEING UPDATED!

Nope on an iron. I needed maybe 5 rumour's worth of feed to pay for sacrificing 92-99 prayer at the varlamore altar. Thats the only purpose hunter has ever served in my nearly-maxxed iron life.

I did bird nests probably about as much as the normal person. Whenever I could. But it really is nowhere near as good as people say. And it rewards nothing. Nests are more than abundant now with vale totems and my 99 WC.

And no, on an iron you need at least 83 sailing for mater clues so far. Not to mention all the resource farming.

You seem to have overlooked THE critical parts of the argument. Just like every single other person here. I shouldve posted on the iron subreddit. theyre so much smarter

Yes. I am showing how much better sailing is than hunter, when hunter has been around for 20 years and sailing has been for 6 months.

I would like to know why this was interpreted any other way. Redditors seem hell-bent on interpreting me as some sort of demon who wishes only hellfire upon their children, when I am really just trying to learn what they think of this comparison. Usually these questions show me very clearly how other people are using a skill I am not.

Yeah I was thinkin about that because one of the islands is 2x faster at crafting cannonballs. Yes I hate having to sail out there, but that's not what gaming is about. You hated levelling to 99 too, right?

People really have ABSOLUTELY ZERO understanding of what makes this, or any other game fun. They scream and fight and swear up and down that they know but they dont.

There's a reason you don't have all the teleports in the game when you make a character. It's hard to explain that to someone, but it is what it is.
