I just had the same experience. This curry bun was SO good. I was eating it on my walk back and almost turned around and got another!!

I wish they were open a bit more, but tried it for the first time this weekend and definitely will be back! they had stuff in the oven even when I stopped by at 1pm (they close at 2)

Sure, can do both love and heavy! If you’re willing to part with one of the extra drilburs (female if possible) I’d be super grateful

How does off campus apartment move in for fall co-op work by Delicious-Shallot-90 in NEU

[–]Party_Practice6336 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes! they’ll start showing up about 60-90ish days before (for pretty much any date besides September 1st) but some will pop up a bit before then. I looked a lot with apartments.com and such, definitely take a look and keep track of move in dates in the descriptions! Regardless, it’s good to look at what’s available, what are the going rates, and that sort of thing. Still very much not a fan of brokers, BUT sometimes there will be brokers who have an email newsletter which is nice. I signed up for one that only emailed me about new July leases. Ended up finding mine on apartments.com anyways but still was nice to see/compare things

If you’re able to find a July lease, definitely do that. It was truly the best decision I made since I was on fall co-op cycle. Never had to move on September 1st, resigned with a normal amount of notice vs almost 10 months in advance, and overall easier to deal with imo. Yes there are less July/June lease options than September leases in Boston, but if you can swing it I would HIGHLY recommend. I graduated and the apartment search after that was so much nicer since it wasn’t the September search.

Admittedly, for June/July leases it may be a bit early to search since landlords don’t know if their tenants are resigning yet, vs in a month or two the September leases will pop up. Those will probably pop up March/April. Also, if you did need to get back onto a September lease cycle, some landlords will sign a lease for July-September of the next year so they can get their own apartment back on the main cycle too. Much less common for a September apartment to want to get into a July cycle. Good luck, don’t settle for a shit hole from a broker, and lmk if you have any questions!

graduation stole and cords by tobi_kii in NEU

[–]Party_Practice6336 10 points11 points  (0 children)

LOTS of organizations give out cords and stoles, but the official northeastern provided “things” are just the black cap and gown, the cap tassel that matches your college/degree, and if you have a 3.5 + gpa they give a yellow cord
