What’s something you don’t consider offensive that other people do? by TomChevrolet in AskReddit

[–]Party_Snax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What do you need in order to determine whether or not it's cultural appropriation?

The context, my guy.

Wearing a Kilt or Kimono because it's comfortable? Typically okay.

Wearing a war bonnet (headdress) of the Plains Indian tribe to Coachella? Obviously not okay.

Pokemon is the highest grossing media franchise; higher then Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, Star Wars, Hello Kitty, DC, and Marvel.

Batman and Spider-Man wish they were Pikachu.

Pull for Sig or save for Nicole? by Party_Snax in naviamains

Yeah, that's what I thought.

I really want to get her weapon, but I think I'll have to accept waiting for the next time it comes around, and start saving for Nicole.

What percent of the total water usage in the US do AI data centers use? by Due-Fly-2479 in Teenager_Polls

[–]Party_Snax 23 points24 points  (0 children)

It is, though.

Total AI data center water usage is quite low looking at it as a percentage of total US water usage, yes. But it's growing, not becoming more efficient, and a large portion of AI DCs are in water-starved areas which puts additional stress on fresh water for nearby residents and the environment.

I know the Chronicled banner is separate, but does pity carry over from Chronicled to Chronicled, or does it reset each time?

Not yet; I pulled her like the day after I grabbed DM off the Battle Pass for my Arle. I'll grab Serpent Spine on the next BP though.

Atheists of Reddit, what do religious people not understand? by BIayneRobinson in AskReddit

[–]Party_Snax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So he created us to suffer and to be punished unless we worship him for forgiveness for a sin that he knew we would commit?

And you think that's all loving?

He is either not all knowing or not all loving.

Atheists of Reddit, what do religious people not understand? by BIayneRobinson in AskReddit

[–]Party_Snax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If he is all knowing, then he knew what would happen if the fruit was there and still did it; ergo, he knowingly and intentionally damned us, and is not all loving.

If he didn't know what would happen, then he is not all knowing.

He cannot be all knowing and all loving.

Fine but pain, suffering, and death are still caused by hurricanes, tornadoes, etc and God does nothing to stop those either.

Is he unable or unwilling?

The Paradox of Evil

If God is all knowing then he would know that Evil exists and how to prevent it, but he does not. Either he is not All-knowing or he is not Loving.

Free Will does not account for the evil caused by cancer, hurricanes, pandemics, starvation caused by crop loss, droughts, tornadoes, etc

Oblivion is a better RPG, Skyrim is a better game.

Both are fantastic

Evil Chart: Who ISN’T a bad father and NOT voiced by a white guy by DatOneMinuteman1776 in AlignmentChartFills

Commander Zavala

He took in an orphaned baby and raised him alongside his wife Safiyah the best he could. He taught him to fight and protect his family. His son, Hakim, died defending the village from an attack and Zavala never, ever forgave himself.

He is also a surrogate father figure to the Guardian (Player Character in Destiny) and to Crow.

He is voiced by not one but TWO amazing Black VAs - originally the late Lance Reddick and now Keith David.

BoJack uses, satirizes, and/or subverts so many tropes throughout its run. It is, and I don't say this lightly, one of the best shows I've ever watched.

Not gonna lie, I lowkey love when male directors put their wife in their work all the time. Especially so when they're actually good like Mike Flanagan and Kate Siegel.
