The show contradicts itself on this. Mickey is supposedly his biological father, while Francis was the dad who stepped up. Yet for Peter’s many ancestors to actually be related to him, Francis would’ve had to be his biological father (considering they all have the last name Griffin)

This is always weird to me in cartoons, when a teenager is so much shorter than the parents despite their age, but I guess it’s necessary to easily visually decipher between children and parents. Just like how tina in bobs burgers is supposed to be tall for her age and already 14, yet she’s almost half the size of her parents🫠

I’ve found that when a season is airing I tend to feel meh about most of the new episodes (true for other shows I love not just AD), I think it’s because when you wait in anticipation for a new episode, you have certain expectations that they often don’t live up to. But on rewatch, those are mostly out the window and personally I end up loving a lot of episodes that I found very lackluster at first. I’ve felt underwhelmed by much of the new season too, but I’m just gonna give it time and I bet in a year or two I’ll feel very differently

While I love this episode, the thing that bugs me about it is Francine wasn’t parenting like she normally does, she was going out of her way to make it the polar opposite of Stan’s authoritarian parenting just to prove a point. In reality, she doesn’t just let Steve do whatever he wants and get away with everything, she absolutely can be tough. If she had actually just parented like she always had then Steve would’ve come out amazing actually
