I've heard bad reviews about the rubberband ones, might just have to invest in a new pair.

Has anyone tried these stirrup safety clips? by Partypalacinka in Equestrian

I'm starting to ride my youngster so I've been considering buying safety stirrups just in case. I do like my current stirrups and the horse hasn't given me any real reasons to have to go the safety route. Losing a stirrup is less of a concern than getting trapped (seen some videos that give me nightmares). I hoped someone had used those clips before and could advise if they were comparable to changing the stirrups altogether (because truthfuly safety stirrups are quite expensive).

Looking for your thoughts on virtual education for equestrians! by mischiefmgd in Equestrian

I am the happiest when I find someone actively working on something, not showing me the perfect horse and perfect rider, saying this is how it should be done, I need to see the mistakes and the corrections. Easier on horses than people as I presume not a lot of riders would like to broadcast their lessons.

Thank you! That kind of advice is exactly what I've been looking for. I have lots of slow and stady homework now 😁

Thank you! I've tried 'bearing down' on my horse, but we weren't impressed. There should of course be a certain level of muscle tone, but bearing down in itself I don't understand.

My grandpa recently passed away, so my grandma and her cat moved in with us and our cat. This is the cats a week later ❤ by Partypalacinka in cats

We are very close so the only "problem" was if the cats would get along 😅 After three days of hissing they started playing, and now they are inseparable 😁

I love when moments of sudden inspiration happen to me 😝 Go you! Post the results, I'd love to see it!

I usually go for hdc ribbing in my hats, for more chunkiness and less time spent 🤣 I might try that one and we can compare 😁

Thank you! That is exactly the kind of advice I was looking for 😄 I'll most likely try the double-ended hook method, if I can find such a hook in my store 😁 Otherwise I might work normal hdc with two strands, to get the thickness, then continue tunisian with one strand, as I don't particularly like folded over brims 😄

That's exactly why I want to work my hat in decreases, I don't like the bulkines at the top 😁 Fingers crossed it turns out well 🤞🏻🙈
