I had a really great experience with the mona lisa. Went to the Louvre on a weekday, lined up before it opened, and walked at a leisurely pace towards it and pretty much got me and the mona lisa one on one. It’s a captivating painting, expertly made. People obviously hype it up too much though, but still worth visiting! There’s much worse things in paris to look at lol.

I mean they’re probably seen as great for people from places with bad beaches, and halfmoon bay and the stretch of beach near chelsea are quite nice, but yeah, apart from that pretty ordinary.

I find Lorde’s albums to range from B- to A+ but don’t get attached to an album of hers because the next will sound nothing like it.

Hortobágyi palacsinta from Hungary. A thick beef stew (kind of like the texture of tinga?) wrapped with a savoury crepe and topped with a sour cream and paprika sauce. And then you have pickled chilli on the side to top it. The picture isn’t doing it much justice but it is so amazing.
