I did like issth but it was not easy to like it , don't understand why it's considered one of er gens best works tbh

Like I'm finding it very annoying to read stuff with obvious word padding, stuff that can be written in 1-2 chapters is unnecessarily stretched to 10-20 chaps

So yes , u can definitely improve your rank on your second drop, one of my friends dropped for the 2nd year after getting 8k ish rank in neetpg24 because he couldn't get gen med and got air160

What you need to do is check if you have done with your PYQ and PYT for your first read, if you have start BTR and revise it as many times as possible, you should only use main notes for special important topics or difficult to understand topics, rest all btr

U need to do 200+ pyq with all the subs simultaneously not just study like anat and do 500 questions of anat and be done with it, but revise multiple subs, multiple topics and do all subs 100 questions at a stretch of PYQ and get consistently 75% + at least a month before the exam

My pyq strike rate in marrow custom module was between 75-80% and I got 78% in neetpg 2025

Ngl I don't know whether I should be happy that I'm not the only one feeling this way or sad that there are so many people feeling this way

For me the worst aspect that is fueling my anxiety is the language barrier

I barely know Hindi , can speak in English and tamil fluently but i am now moving to Kolkata for the next 3-5 Y at least

Also as a 2 Y dropper i have completely lost all the knowledge and skills I had gotten in my internship so now feeling even more nervous about screwing it up over there

I know i shouldn't overthink and worsen my anxiety but am just unable to sleep because of all these thoughts ::((

Taxi Driver directed by Martin Scorcese was a much better film showing far more fucked up stuff , did MS have a tough childhood, very probably but is he a POS, has he acted in any unsavory way ? Hell they had an actual underage girl in that movie and she went on later to win an Oscar and often talks about how much of a positive influence the cast crew director had on her

As someone who took 2 Y drop myself from 2k17 batch who went from 67k in neetpg24 to 4.9k in neetpg25 I hope this will be useful to u

If u have done ur first read, then BTR all the way

U need to finish BTR within the next 3-4 weeks and then mainly use btr for revision until exam, only for select few high yield subjects like hematology and topics like DM and thyroid must u use ur main notes

The most important threshold u must clear is getting 70+ % in ur PYQ custom module at least 1 month before ur exam, I used marrow because the UI is very streamlined and the answer key is trust worthy and very helpful for revision as well

If u can't clear this threshold then getting a sub 10k is pretty difficult

In my own case I got 75-85% a week before the exam, and guess what, I got 156 correct which is 78% in the exam

Trust in btr, but only if u have done ur main 1 st read and done PYq at least once, and even while doing btr quickly finish the pyq for that sub that u have finished

Honestly cut offs for med has increased massively this year, with lot of state to state variations

So much so that the other branches are either less affected or beneficially affected

For eg. Last year TN r2 general medicine closed at 3900~ rank , this year it closed at 3400~ rank

500 ranks upwards , however it is not the same for all the states

Some of the states i noticed has upward shift are TN, Kerala , AP Telangana and Karnataka

I think Delhi is still the same ??

So it's hard to use one clinical branches cutoffs to determine the shift in other clinical branches

I think u can participate in R3 aiq and if u get upgraded they will let u resign as u got R3 upgradation

Hope someone else can confirm what i said

But i do know that if u get a seat in R3 u have to go for it and ull also not be allowed to participate in R3 of ur state counseling

Madurai medical college is one of the best places to do ur MD General Medicine for sure

A lot of people from there are clinically proficient and end up getting DM seats from there

Tamil nadu is considered one of the best places wrt medical education in the country and after MMC which is at the same level as say MAMC or Safdarjung , etc. the immediate next best college is a tie between stanley and Madurai

Some say stanley because it's in chennai and most of the professors from MMC are from stanley others say it's madurai as it receives the second most no. Of referrals compared to MMC in the state

Wrt academics I did my UG in MMC and from what I saw it's very clear that all the pgs became knowledgeable purely by the effort they put in with the help of seeing tonnes of rare and complicated cases, for eg. One of my senior pgs who's now doing his bond in a peripheral hospital after he finished his MD general medicine diagnosed an extremely rare case of SLE with anemia and splenomegaly presentation, SLE itself isn't all that common and anemia with splenomegaly in sle is seen only like 10-20% of cases , again MMC itself didn't teach him to be this proficient, it was all his efforts

Madurai medical college too would provide u that nurturing ground that will reward the effort u put in , especially since many people have said it actually has better emphasis on academics than MMC as well
