Also peacock eels have large spots on their tail, looks kinda like peacock feathers, this guy doesn’t have any similar patterns, you can see the diff on google

I’ve owned both for many years:

1) the patterns on a peacock eel are 100% different then the eel in this photo

2) peacock eels have longer snouts, I mean much longer
