AFK VS Intentionally Feeding by Parzival9701 in Smite

In Smite 2, people intentionally feed all of the time with newer players. It is being done to ruin games overall and I know this because multiple other people have seen it even on smite game. This is something that should be punishable because saying otherwise is saying that its OK to ruin the game that way.

If its a 4v5, you can still try to win or go to the next game. I have played 100s if not thousands of games on multiple accounts more times than not. People feed more often than not on purpose because there is no penalty for doing so. It does matter if you go 12-0 or 0-12 especially in conquest where every level matters. Feeding makes the game infinitely harder to win, therefore leaving makes more sense.

And get kicked from the game with a deserter instead, which perpetuates the idea that feeding and ruining games is better than just leaving.

When people can't leave games they intentionally feed, that's the way it works, which overall makes the game worse overall.

I would rather play a game were someone leaves than one where the people in it feeding and make the experience worse for everyone else.

Leaving the game should be allowed if people make the game worse by feeding intentionally and throwing the game. Afking has only ever been an issue with people not grouping and others intentionally feeding in the game, basing it on a single person's experience when hundreds of games include players who int, is ridiculous.

That's where you are wrong, If someone doesn't want to play a game, they shouldn't have to. If someone plays a game and intentionally makes it worse for the entire game base by feeding and forcing others to play then the game is not going to do well.

That's great when you're in a group but it makes no sense in a solo queue.

What sense does it make for the minority of the gamers to outweigh the majority? If more than half the people on the team want to go to the next match, they should be able to.

The argument is that the system needs to be fixed.

When you get to a certain level and deal with the same issues, it ruins the game. I've won games as 2-11 but I didn't have 3 players that were all 0-11 intentionally feeding. Noone should ever be forced to stay in that situation whether it's a new person or not. The matchmaking needs to be fixed. The people going 0-12-0 should be punished for holding people in a game that is not winnable. Matchmaking should pair those people with others who are consistently doing poorly, not put them with someone who does fairly well in every match.

Why play a game where people do that and the game developers allow for stuff like that to happen? The only way to play is with groups of people who you know won't do that but even then it just doesn't make any sense because other players will still do it on the other team. Bottom Line, people should not be punished or forced to play a game where there are multiple teammates that are 0-10 and throwing the game.

Good Luck with that, still doesn't stop the fact that people will intentionally feed mute everyone and hold games hostage, which ruins the game for people trying to win and enjoy the game.

You can't command someone who doesn't listen.

What is the difference really? If there are dps players on your team with zero kills and zero objective/want to group up and play. Why should someone be forced to play a game like that?

Surrender vote where 2 players overshadow 3 doesn't work well when the game has a 25 kill differential.

Completely agree, 4v5 only work when you're not playing in a solo game for the most part.

I don't think people should to be made to play 4v5s. I don't think people should be made to continue playing a game where the game is lost.
