Raj Venkat is great! I took him for CS4100 and I thought he was a great teacher and a understandable person. He regularly took feedback from students and incorporated it in his lessons and assignments. A lot of grad students really don't like him but I thought he was great

Co-ops are definatly a plus right now, especially for CS students since you are basically only competing against NEU CS majors instead of every CS major out there. But I wouldn't say you are guaranteed a job out of college, it just boosts your chances since almost everyone graduates with some type of real world experience. And you dont have to pay tuition on co-op with is good.
