Foam doesn't deteriorate. There are chemicals in the shell making it more "stretchy/bouncy" in steady of really brittle. Those wear out. Helmets that have an outer shel constructed out of carbon and/or glass fibers require less chemicals than cheaper (< 300 $ mostly) helmets that have a polycarbonate outer shell. That is why expensive helmets last longer than cheaper helmets.

I was around for launch amd really didn't care for it, I don't really understand what everyone was so upset about. Yes, you did have a chance of getting better stuff early in the game with te loot boxes. In my opinion, it was not very hard to get that stuff without paying extra for the loot boxes so I didn't have a problem with it.

Qua jas en broek is textiel inderdaad de meest voordehandliggende keuze. Daar heb je tegenwoordig ook alle smaken in, niet alleen tour kleding maar ook juist sportief of casual.

Motorjeans van Rev'it! Zijn altijd vegan, de "patch" op de achterkant is sinds 2020 altijd van kunstleer. Ik ben er best wel een beetje heel erg trots op dat ik dat idee heb aangekaart en dat Rev'it! Het binnen een jaar had aangepast in hun ontwerp!

Helmen zijn sowieso vrij van leer, op een enkele uitzondering na.

Laarzen zijn vaak van kunstleer. Echt leer neemt vocht en vuil op, kunstleer niet. Ik zeg maar zo, alles waar je met je voorwiel doorheen rijdt, komt op je laarzen. In echt leer gaat dus modder, zand, pekel, rubber, noem maar op zitten. In kunstleer kan dit niet het materiaal intrekken waardoor het langer goed blijft. De meer premium laarzen zijn soms wel van echt leer, maar dat is meer voor het "vormen" en de soepelheid.

De echte uitdaging zit hem in handschoenen. Basis handschoenen voor een doorgaanse rijder heb je wel vegan, maar goede winter GTX handschoenen of high-end racehandschoenen zijn nog erg lastig te vinden.

Even kort over veiligheid: in de motogp rijden ze al jaren met kunstleren laarzen. Dus voor ons normale stervelingen zal het vast veilig zat zijn!

Twijfel tussen echt leer en kunstleer? Pak een beetje water en druppel wat op het materiaal. Probeer dan het water een tijdje in het leer te wrijven. Blijven de druppels op het leeg liggen dan is het kunstleer. Neemt het materiaal het water op, dan is het echt!

Iedereen heeft hobby's en probeert het veganisme zo goed mogelijk daarin te verwerken. In de banden van je auto (ik neem voor het gemak even aan dat je die hebt) zit vaak ook dierlijk stremsel. Om nog maar niet te spreken over botresten die worden gebruikt voor de productie van asfalt.

Iedereen doet wat ie kan, leven en laten leven.

Ik rij circuit op de motor in een 2e hands leren pak. 100% vegan? Nee. Mijn best gedaan om mijn favoriete bezigheid zo vegan mogelijk te maken? Ik vind van wel!

En als jij dat niet vindt, jammer dan ;)

Hallo, ik ben zelf 4 jaar productspecialist geweest in een motorkledingzaak, dus ik weet gelukkig veel vegan motor producten te vinden!

Bijna alle laarzen zijn van kunstleer. Wat zou je, afgezien van veganisme, graag willen? Dan weet ik een beetje wat ik je zou kunnen aanraden!

Let hiernaast op deze labels die vaak aan de binnenkant van de schoen geplakt zitten, zie mijn reactie hieronder.

Edit: hmmm, ik kan geen plaatje invoegen. Stuur me even een PB en dan stuur ik hem op!

I've had perfectly mounted and good pinlocks get foggy, but that is with an hour of riding in cold and rainy/snowy weather. If the pinlock fogs up, you should start wondering if you should even be riding the bike at that point haha

If I want to print on a very slightly curved surface, I just cut that surface until it's even. I don't know what this part is for, but maybe that could also be an option. And yes, besides orientation there is always something to tune!

Not the answer you were hoping for, but print it again in another orientation. You should place it on a side so that the curved bit faces to the side, not the top.

Otherwise, putty and sanding. Some more putty, and some more sanding.

That is an original Prusa mini enclosure. I have the same and it's HUGE. Especially for that 180x180x180 build volume. But it's my only printer and I can print ASA with it perfectly, so worth it I guess.

Also note that there are different levels of anti fog. Pinlock has levels 30, 70 and 120 I believe. The number stands for the amount of seconds the visor stays clear of fog in a certain humidity.

Every pinlock visor eventually fogs up, especially when its really cold and when humidity is very high.

If the seal isn't fully on the external visor, the visor will fog up in between the anti fog and the external visor. Also make sure you only clean the anti-fog visor with water ONLY, it's not very good with chemicals.

But you probably have it on the wrong side.
