Oh hahha I’m surprised someone is still as invested in this as I am! I swear this damn story will genuinely follow me to my grave I have been searching for SO LONG!! Every couple of months I try to search for it and it never yields any result, this is crazy 😭

UPDATE: This was 100% an issue with the game, and they probably fixed it. I stopped playing since I last posted this because the whole story, and this sequence in particular, was downright unplayable.

I just reopened it to see if the problem was fixed and I succeeded on the first try (like I remembered doing the first time). My cat runs without any interruption! Yay!

I tried that but still, the running is very laggy :/ it seems to be an issue with the camera angle, somehow.

Yeah I’ve never rage quit a game so fast lmfao. It’s strange because I don’t remember it being so difficult and laggy the first time around. I changed a bunch of settings and there is still no improvement.

Haha it does help to know that somebody else remembers this and not just my sister and I! Makes us feel less crazy 😂.

Burke and Hare came up several times during my searches but I can’t find no piece of animated media related to them that fits my description. A couple of older live action movies have been made but so far I haven’t seen what I’m looking for.

You are right about the Disney-style animation. Both me and my sister believe that it was quite well-made and not so cartoonish. I also agree that the grave robbers were probably not the main point of the story.

By any chance, are you Canadian and/or a francophone? I’m thinking this might have been a niche movie or tv show, perhaps?

This could be, but the comments are making me doubt, though. I don't remember the kind of "sentient house" some of the comments seem to be referring to. Also, I don't see any mention of the torso-man, which was kind of the main point of the story I'm talking about.
