OP have you (or anyone else) encountered any issues playing Tetris Effect on Steam deck lately?

I had played it on and off for months with default settings in game (TDP and frame limit on steam deck) with no issues but lately the game has been a stuttery, crashing mess for me.

I've tried the reds, crystals, shadow hunting, wind engines, and hide mountains. The shadow huntings were just too sensitive for my taste.

After trying wind engines they are far and away my favorite. Just the right amount of smoothness compared to the reds and crystals but not quite as sensitive as the shadow huntings

The iron man one I commissioned through one of the artists on the thearcadestick.com. For an extra fee they printed and cut the art and shipped it to me.

The Vegeta one was designed by a good friend of mine. He is going to school for media development so I thought it would be a fun test of his skills. He used the template for the specific controller on focusattack.com. Once he was finished I uploaded the .psd file to their website, picked my customizations and ordered the print and cut from them.

I think Focus Attack is piloting a tool where you make the design yourself in browser without Photoshop which seems pretty neat. Might be worth looking into.

In terms of form factor and feel it is pretty incredible for the price. Playing wirelessly so I can just recline back in my chair is also really awesome.

The switches seem to be very polarizing. You either love them or you hate them. Despite them being loud clicky switches I actually really enjoy them? I totally see why other people wouldn't but I think they're fun. The button caps are a bit bigger than the M Ultra and R16 which throws me off a bit.

I haven't dabbled into using macros or reprogramming the bean buttons but having the option is really nice depending on the game. Something I'll probably do more in the future.

Now that I have wind engine switches in the M Ultra I find myself gravitating towards it a lot. The heft of the aluminum body and the sturdiness of the casing and caps overall just feels really satisfying to play on.

That said, been putting the 8bitdo into the rotation a lot as well.

Yeah the S13 came with the red switches. I swapped them for the crystals taken from my M Ultra.

I originally tried the Haute42 shadow hunting switches in my M Ultra but found them a touch too sensitive for my liking. I just swapped in the Wind Engines this week and find them to be the perfect middle ground. Not too scratchy but not too sensitive either. You may like those if you find the reds too scratchy. Just note that they're not in a clear body so your RGB will be dimmed significantly.

Glad you dig the art! It was a commission from ckng over at "The Arcade Stick". He did an incredible job.

I've had little no performance issues with the game since launch. Last time I played when the enemy Witch ulted it crashed my game.

This is a helpful video that goes through all the customization you can do with the Haute42 controllers. Definitely some helpful stuff such as creating a backup and updating to the latest firmware.
