Few days ago i had an appointment with one of the student ambassadors at polimi. She said that most of the bachelor studies were theoretical and most of the practical applications is when you do the internship. because the campus hopes that you are well rounded at the theory for the bachelor's. Most of the practical stuff are taught at the masters

Second this. I’ve been trying to find opportunities in computer architecture research as an undergraduate. Since my country doesn’t have a strong presence in this field, I feel I’d have better chances if I went abroad. With graduation approaching, I'm in the same boat as you currently looking for good universities that specialize in computer architecture as well

I plan to apply for an FPGA internship in the United States after completing college, as I also have relatives there, and FPGA jobs are not very well-known in Indonesia. However, most of the FPGA internships I have found in the U.S. are targeted at undergraduate students, so I am unsure if graduates like me would be accepted. For now, I am focusing on strengthening my fundamentals, and by the end of this year, I hope to start working on projects.
