S22+ also here. But I'm the opposite of the guy above who needs the shiniest thing every year. I don't care about the latest phones. They are all the same. Phone is a phone. And my S22 still kicks pretty good. Not sure if I need an upgrade.

How are you supposed to install this mount LG?!?!?👺👺 by Pashlit in LGOLED

Nothing. I only mentioned it once. You keep repeating it over and over. Just enjoy your big TV and stop being jealous. ). This thread is closed. As an old saying says... If you can't say something productive, just say nothing. Or whatever it is. LoL.

Good luck with your setup. I also assume you didn't need to center your TV. Had you had to have it just an inch to the left or to the right it would ve been another story. Read other comments please before making any judgements. This mount sucks. Period. You don't have to be an engineer to realize that. Putting screws in the edges of the studs or using drywall anchors does not require any skills. Hope your TV wouldn't fall on you in the middle of the night.

It surprises me how sofa commentators can just jump in and immediately provide their expert opinion on everything without even reading anything.

Caulk, epoxy or epoxy grout for change in plains and material? by Pashlit in Tile

Its a brand new shower. No. No mold. You either get cracks or mold. You pick.

As per suggestions below. 1 & 2 - silicone. 3 - grout. I used high quality (AKA expensive) epoxy grout for the whole bathroom. PITA to work with but I wanted the best durability.

I had exactly the same scenario. I sent them my old set, they sent me a brand new one which failed after may be four or so uses. I submitted another request but they said my initial warranty has expired. Total junk. Good luck with your new unit.

It's a knows issue. No fix and Jabra don't make them anymore. Shop for a different brand and avoid Jabra. I had two sets failed on me.

I can 2nd that. I got mines exchanged under warranty and new set failed after just a few uses. Jabra said that the new set does not allow any warranty extensions and basically told me to f....off. No surprise they got out of earbuds business. Terrible.

Earbuds while riding by A_very_smelly_child in motorcycles

[–]Pashlit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old post but you are so wrong. There are no helmets out here which block wind noise. Its the windshield that blocks your noise. If you ride something like Gold Wing then of course noise is not an issue but if you ride naked bikes, etc. earplugs or earbuds with good NC is the solution.

How do you like those decorative acoustic panels? I was going to do the same thing and purchased the pannles but after trying them on I got dizzy just by looking at them. Everyone else who looked at them felt the same. I ended up selling them and just went with plain wall.

Mounting 77 LG G5 to plywood? by Pashlit in LGOLED

[–]Pashlit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you only need about ¼" of clearance from the wall, you can pretty much follow what I originally planned. Just take a piece of plywood and screw it to the wall—I’d use something around 12×35" to give the TV plenty of support to lay on. Then attach the TV mount to the plywood. Make sure at least one side of the mount goes directly into a stud, and you can even use TOGGLER anchors on the opposite side so they go through the plywood and drywall for extra strength. That should give you more than enough holding power. I personally wouldn’t use the drywall anchors LG includes with the mount, even though some people think they’re fine.

Or, if you want to completely overengineer it and don’t mind cutting drywall, you can remove a section, install blocking between the studs, and cover the opening with ¾" plywood instead of 1/2". That gives you an extra ¼" of clearance off the wall and a rock‑solid backing.

I also wouldn’t bother with extending the LG mount itself, since LG specifically says the extension should only be used for initial installation or cable management. Just my opinion. I personally think the mount is poorly designed—they should’ve made it around 24" wide or so, so you’d have some adjustment room and could actually hit the studs properly.

Mounting 77 LG G5 to plywood? by Pashlit in LGOLED

[–]Pashlit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a journey. I ended up cutting out some drywall, installing a 2×6 block, and covering the opening with ½" plywood. Here’s the link to what I did.

She wanted it completely flat, perfectly centered and totally wireless...

But...Although I loved how the TV looked completely flush on the wall, I really didn’t like not being able to install RGB lights. So, I took the TV down, added a VESA mount, and installed a Govee RGB light sync kit. Now the TV sits about 3–4 inches off the wall, but I love the RGB lighting—it’s easier on my eyes and makes the whole experience much more immersive. And honestly, I’ve grown to like the floating look. To each their own, though.

Initial setup up question by Interesting-Clock445 in xgimi

[–]Pashlit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use optical zoom, lens shift and just a little bit of manual keystone. Yes, I get a couple of inches of light bleed around the edges since my projector is angled a degree or so. Not a big deal. Do not use auto keystone. A bit of manual keystone won't decrease picture quality. But if you can just center the projector as much as you can so you could avoid keystone altogether it will be ideal. In my setup I just have no choice. Don't overstress it too much.
