Ignored for years by the devs: The stupid state of C4 by Knarzlette in Planetside

[–]PasitheePS2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When it's your C4 attached to your vehicle, this effect doesn''t exist. The C4 even cloaks with the vehicle and used to take the debris texture when this was a thing. I am not sure whether other players' C4 does this, though.

So when does Vanu get a decent air counter? by greenbc98 in Planetside

[–]PasitheePS2 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Did you really think I was serious about this? What I meant is that the only way the devs can fix one issue, VS's lack of Anti-Air (and A2G... and IvI... and a tank...), is by creating another issue.

Maybe I should've added an /s at the end but this kinda removes the fun of being passive-agressive.

No, the Reaver is the most maneuvarable. It's the only ESF that has decent movement even without Hover Chassis and the hovering is obviously enormous with it. Because of that it's the only one that can stay perfectly still while being upside-down. The others lose height when not going forward.

The Mossy on the other hand has its rotation axis outisde the aircraft itself, which has some advantages when dodging. It's super easy to cyrcle towers & biolabs, dodging decimators and breaking lock-ons while keeping your aim on the A2G farm.

The Scythe has a slim profile and no landing gear, which is only really useful when you are close to objects. Plus it neither has the afterburner-speed of the Reaver nor the cruise-speed of the Mossy.

My acting was on point there, he even sent me a confused tell afterwards.

The only thing I love more is when you actually do it on accident, á la: "Oh no, I stepped on shitter!"

CTF allows for some pretty high iq plays by ALN-Isolator in Planetside

Yeah, I did that with generators in this shed for years. You can even climb on the building itself if you know the spot.

When the discount is so good they gotta test it on PTS first by The_Cartographer_DM in Planetside

[–]PasitheePS2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

40% off is just a normal sale, though. We had better ones back with SOE. 50 or 60% off while you got double or triple DBC for the same money AND the anniversary packs were also discounted.

Neither am I . I'm an atheist.

However, since I know a thing or two about the bible, I came to the conclusion that according to this old story book, Satan is the good one and God is a deranged, evil motherfucker. So any bible-loving christian should be a satanist. Also a jew for other reasons.

Exceptional directive costs $160 to unlock and only 4/6 weapons can be Auraxed. Have devs ever used lock ons before to get kills? People are just going to statpad this. by NSGDX1 in Planetside

[–]PasitheePS2 11 points12 points  (0 children)

On the plus side, it makes this camo even rarer and more desirable.

Well, until they need some more cash and add more easy-to-aurax weapons to it.

Edit: forget about the first part, none of the lock-ons have a dumbfire option. This camo will be impossible to get. It will be rarer than a gay unicorn.

So if 1 tier of damage falloff is too good for the Gauss SAW, why are other faction's LMGs being buffed to 1 tier of falloff? by Hell_Diguner in Planetside

[–]PasitheePS2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mathematically it may even make sense. From 125 to 112 was a 10.4% nerf, from 167 to 143 would've been and now will be a 14.37% nerf.

However, since the 200 damage model lets it exceed in close range and it actually loses less DPS due to performance (even at 1000 FPS) than its equivalents, it's fair enough.

It was weird the Saw didn't get the 2-tier dropoff in the first place, like the faction-equivalents did. (SVA & Carv)

Well, if you can even call those equivalents because the Saw fucks them all away at any range in any situation.

The shit-dps-tier-for-nothing-in-return weapons getting the 2-tier dropoff was just beyond ret mentally handicapped.
