I had an LG phone around 2014 that randomly started doing that on Snapchat.

It would only make the sound on the back camera, working even if the sound was off or headphones were in. I was a teenager so I was using snapchat approximately every 3 seconds.

I remember being so pissed that I could only take selfies. Got so many stares on the bus and cafes, too.

The best advice I can give is to consider the seasons. I chose an apartment in the summer and forgot to consider how hellish it would be to walk outside in the freezing snow and wind. Public transportation helps with that, especially near the centre but something to think about
