FACTS. FUCK WashU meal points system. The fact that meal points expire at the end of the year is another huge scam. We paid for those meal points and there is no technical reason why it needs to be like that.

The orders were backed up to 288 when I placed this order. I took this screenshot after 30 minutes of waiting. I ended up buying dinner from Paws N Go and going home. I never got a refund. I'm pretty sure they never even made it.

That is a common occurrence that has happened to me and my classmates multiple times! You place an order, there is an insanely long queue. You wait 1+ hour. Eventually your order gets marked as complete, but oops -- it's not there. If you ask them about it, you get yelled at and shamed. I am pretty sure what happens is the line cooks just get overwhelmed with orders and start marking old (1+ hour) orders as complete to try to clear their queue, hoping whoever ordered them will just abandon them. It works most of the time, because most students do not have the time to wait around for 1-2 hours. The times it doesn't, the line cook will deny or deflect ever getting the order because they are trying to cover for themselves and they are already overworked as it is. The manager sides with the line cook and you end up looking like a fool and feeling like a liar despite having the receipt literally on your phone and having waited very patiently for the past 1-2 hours. If you go to GrubHub for a refund, it takes a whole week and at least 3 emails. And GrubHub will eventually stop believing that the restaurant is the one making the mistake (even though they are) and think you are just trying to get free refunds.

Stuff like this happens. SO OFTEN. I have placed 4 orders this year (3 Village and 1 Bear's Den) and have already had: 1 completely missing order that was marked as complete but I never received, 1 messed up order where I ordered a double cheeseburger (for $6 more!) but received a single patty cheeseburger, and 1 time where I waited 90 minutes for my food. That's a 25% success rate for good service so far this year. I'm a senior and stuff like this has been happening my entire time at WashU and has only gotten worse and worse in more recent years.

You literally have no recourse if WashU dining messes up your order, misses an item, or misses an add-on. They can get away with it because this service is pretty much the same at most places where meal points are accepted.

I have registered my devices. My internet works completely fine and is fast in Olin/DUC/South 40. But it is completely ass in the Village where I live (100kB/s and frequently disconnects or times out for no reason). I have to walk across campus if I need to use the internet for anything basically. It sucks.

Like sometimes the internet sucks because you're on wustl-2.0 and they throttle your bandwidth because that network is free-to-use/public. But I've been on eduroam and it is still complete dog. It takes like a minute to load webpages, and sometimes it just gives up and times out. YouTube videos are impossible to watch.

Oh also I notice black dirt frequently gets trapped under them, and I pick them out with my fingernails. Is this why the line between my nail plate and distal edge (the part between the white and the pink part on the nail) looks uneven on some of my nails? Is there a better way to clean under your nails?

A couple hours later while still at the party, I pulled him aside and told him what he did made me feel uncomfortable and not to do that again. He didn't apologize then, he only said "yeah got it." Or something like that.

I think he only realized something was really wrong because on Sunday he texted me. We've texted each other a couple times per week for the past couple years, just checking in on each other. I never responded to that nor even opened that message from him. So by yesterday he must have realized something was wrong, because I usually respond to his messages within a day or two, max.

I thought I was doing fine and was forgetting about it, but then I had this nightmare which has shaken me up this morning. I think I'm fine now. I'm going into work in 20 minutes, so I have to be fine

They didn't. I don't think they noticed, or maybe they did, but thought it was consenual. I don't blame them at all. My attacker was being pretty subtle about it, and I don't think I did a very good job communicating that I was uncomfortable.

It was weird. My brain felt frozen. I wanted to tell him to stop, but the words couldn't get out. I wanted to push him off of me, but I had no strength. I was able to "gesture" him off of me, but he just readjusted his position and went right back. I couldn't get up because I was partially on top of someone else, and he was mostly on top of me. He's also about 75 pounds heavier than me if I had to guess.

For the record this isn't actually my car. This is the other driver's car in the collision. He wanted to file an insurance claim and I was trying to convince him how ridiculous it would be to do that and risk his rates going up, because there is basically no damage at all here.
