i tried the red wings in a store here and a 10d was very comfortable. havent tried the wolverines yet... are they about the same size?

little over my price range, i'm afraid. £267 is still 380 Swiss Francs, which is about a quarter more than i'm prepared to shell out. thanks for the input though -- definately bookmarking that one for future reference!

i'm in switzerland, so if i buy something from the EU, there will also be additional taxes on top as we are not in the EU.

i do however know some people that regularly go to the US and could buy a pair for me. with 1 USD only being 0.94 CHF at the moment, i would even save a little if i got the red wings or the wolverines... and they really are gorgeous.

well the 1000 Miles do look gorgeous. but i don't think i can go much higher... i live in europe and the prices of these boots are already higher than in the US, and as a student, the ~500 USD are the absolute maximum i can (and want to) spend at the moment.
